When A Part of You Family is Missing

Just a small recap of what was going on

Dr Roberts

As I'm starting to leave the house saying my goodbyes to everyone. I keep hearing the machine beeping. As I am walking out the door it turns to one long beep. I just hope I did not jinx our poor Melody. I turn back to the room, telling Owen to grab the defibrillator. Time to hopefully save our girl. Shock one and nothing, turn the machine up shock two still nothing not even a beep to pick up the shock. But we keep hearing the one long drawn out sound of the heart machines saying there are no beats.

Third person

All of Melody's loved ones are panicking, praying to God that they hear her heart start again. But after one minute there is still a flat line going across the machine. Sean runs over and starts doing CPR. While they wait for her heart to start. After two minutes goes by everyone is starting to lose hope. When Dr Roberts calls time of death 8:35 pm. Then he turns all the machines off. The whole family are in tears. They have lost their loved one after just getting her back. When Melody's twin hears his Uncle Roberts calls time of death. He screams so loud all the other siblings run to the room to see what is happening. The last machine that gets turned off is the breathing machine. The tube gets taken out. Then Dr Roberts leaves the room to give the immediate family some alone time. First the adults all give her kisses on the cheek then they leave to set up arrangements. What the adults don't see is all the kids snuck back into the room. Each sibling even the adopted ones, put their hands on Melody. With Michael and Alissa holding her hands. When all of a sudden Alissa starts screaming for their daddy Sean.

All the adults are in the kitchen. Dr Roberts already called the coroner to come pick up Melody's body. Dr Roberts had to give Sang and Gabe something to knock them out. Those two are the ones to take it bad. Well so did Raven but no one could keep him down long enough. Instead him and North went out to the gym to try and calm down. The ones that were left around were sitting down in shock. Until they heard their precious daughter scream for her daddy Sean. When they heard her scream came from the livingroom where Melody was left at. They all quickly ran to her, they wanted to see what happened. Sean was the first one in the room. His heart broke when he saw all the children surrounding poor Melody's body. Even the younger children were sat on her bed. Soon after the rest of the gang showed up. When Alisa saw her daddy's, she screamed that Melody squeezed her hand. Dr Roberts told her that it was probably a delayed muscle twitch. When Alisa ran over to her daddy Sean. She begged him to go check for himself. By this time Michael was feeling a weird sensation in his body. Even though Sean was praying that he would feel her move. He knew their was no chance. But to settle his kids feelings. He walked over to his poor little girls body.

Sean

I am sitting at the kitchen table with some of our family and friends. When I hear my daughter Alissa scream for me. When I saw it was coming from the livingroom. This was where we left Melodys body. We were waiting for the coroner to show up. They said it would be about two hours. I was the first to jump out of my chair and sprint to the living room. When I saw what waited me when I walked into the room. It broke me when I saw all our children touching Melody. Even our adopted kids were trying to give Melody some comfort. That's when Alisa screamed that Melody squeezed her hand. I know in all my medical books. That this never happened. But I did not want to go with book knowledge, or scientific evidence. I wanted our poor daughter to come back to us. We just got here back, for her to be taken this way. I slowly walk over to where Alisa was holding Melody's hand. I sit in the chair and take her hand. I can tell by her chest not raising or falling. That my miracle that we all want had not happened. I turn to let go of her hand, plus tell all the kids to go upstairs. I feel a very small squeeze to my hand. When I ask my baby to squeeze again, if she hears me. I feel a smaller, just barely squeeze again. I jump up and check for a heart beat, or breathing. I can't see any difference then we thought. But I decide to hook her back up to her vital machine. It takes a minute to boot back up. When we all hear the steady beep saying there is no heart beat. It breaks us all again. When I go to turn it off again. Michael screamed that she squeezed his hand. When I went to turn it off again. I see the flat line go to one peak. When Dr Roberts sees this also. We both waited, the machine went flat again. Then two peaks. We waited again after it went flat. Then the most amazing thing happened. The heart monitor picked up a perfect heart beat. Everyone was shocked even me. When I saw my mentor Dr Roberts run to hook up my very alive daughter. When he told me Sean look up. When I did I see the most adorable eyes. Big baby green eyes slowly start to open. I see our baby girl eyes look up at me. Then she turns to see most of the others. I see a small look of fear on her face. Until she saw a few of our brothers she recognized. Then she sees all the kids around her. When I ask the kids to give us a few minutes. She shakes her head, with tears filled eyes. Begging us to let them stay. When I have Dex take the youngest ones upstairs. We let the older kids stay with her. When Michael leans down to whisper something in her ears. She smiles and looks happy. I just want to see that smile for the rest of our lives. We all just sit around her bedside. Just giving her support and comfort. I then see some of my brothers on their phones for a second. Then they all surround our daughters hospital bed.

North

I see my brother Raven flipping out over his blood daughter dying. We just got here back to lose her again. I know that Gabe and our wife Sang had to be given a shot to help them calm down and sleep. No one could come close to Raven. So I tell him to come to the gym with me. So here we are going punch for punch. Neither of us holding back. When we both get redlined. So we stop to see who is in trouble. When I see that Owen redlined me and Axel redlined Raven. We both run back into the house. When we see Dex taking our youngest kids upstairs. He tells us that everyone is in the living room. I see Raven freeze up inside. He turns to go back outside. When Dex says we need to get there fast. So this changes Raven's mind. When we get close by we see everyone around our poor baby girls bed. I start to let the tears cry. But I hold them back for my brothers sake. When I hear Michaels laughter I walk over to where everyone is at. When I see for my own eyes, our baby girl Melody alive and smiling. I tell Luke to pinch me. Ouch the bastard went and pinched me. Damn Luke you actually fucking pinched me. Well you told me to was his reply. Wait I felt that pinch I'm not dreaming. Our baby girl is alive.

Raven

I am trading punch for punch with South. That's a long running joke between North and myself. When we both get redlined. I really don't want to stop. I can't face what is happening to me. Owen texted South and Axel texted me. So we both decide to see what's happening. Why we were redlined. When we get back in the house. I hear our son Dex tell South that everyone is in the living room with Melody. When I go to turn back around to leave. He tells us we need to get there fast. We both go right to the living room. When we get there I see everyone around my poor daughter Melody's bedside. Well she is all my brothers daughter, I'm just her blood father. What hurts me is I don't hear any crying. In fact I hear Michael laughing. Why would he laugh at a time like this. This really makes me mad. When Axel sees my face. He grabs my hand and pulls me to my poor Melody. But when I see her, I see a big green emerald eyes looking at me. She has the prettiest smile. I want to see that smile on her face. Wait what is going on? How did you bring are little angel back to us. Cory grabs me as all my emotions escape at once. We both fall to the floor when my legs won't hold me up. I calm down a little when I hear our wife's voice. Plus our brother Gabe, the drug they gave them to sleep must have worn off.

Sang

I need to tell my baby girl I love her and I will miss her deeply. I hope their is a heaven so we can meet each other again in the future. This pain is so real. It doesn't even compare with the pain I suffered from years of abuse. This pain is so much stronger. I grab Gabe's hand as we both walk down the stairs. To see most of our family in the living room. They are all surrounding our daughters bed. Corey and Raven are on the floor. When the others see us they move so we can see our poor baby girl. But what I don't see is my daughter's poor beaten body. No what we both see is our beautiful baby girl smiling at her twin, and other siblings. I don't know what happened, but I am so grateful for who ever brought her back to me, to us.

Melody

Why are there so many adults surrounding me? Where am I. I start to really freak out, until I see the nice man, I think his name is Luke. I also see the Cafe owner smiling at me too. So I calm down a little bit. I also see there are a lot of kids around me. Plus the boy Michael who i feel a deep connection with. I also see Alisa smiling at me. Then the boy Michael tells me that we are at their house. That i can stay with them. No one will take me away from them. That no one will hurt me ever again. I really want to believe him. I start to feel really tired. I try to yawn without anyone seeing me. But it was a no go. I have one of the older doctors tell me to try and rest. That they will all be here when I wake up. When I lay down I feel the bed dip on both sides. When I see why, I see Michael on my left and Alisa on my right. They both hug me and we fall asleep together. The first time I ever felt safe. That was not in my dreams only. I wonder how I got to be so lucky to find people this nice. Not even my real family treated me this way. In fact my real family hates me. The only one in my family that treated me like a human was Uncle Will. But he was never around.
