[16] Comforting Treatment

I saw Mitsuya looking at me wide-eyed, seemingly taken back by what I said. He then let out a loud sigh and stood up, I flinched a little as he raised his voice. "Do you have any idea how stupid that was? Not only you got hurt, but Hakkai's...!" He said, clearly angry by the current situation.

"Taka-nii! Don't yell at nee-chan like that!"
"Mhm! Mhm! She's sad now... There, there..." Mana comforted me as she patted me on the hair.

Mitsuya noticed my reaction and his eyes softened, he spoke again. "Sorry... I shouldn't have raised my voice at you." He said, now sitting down next to me, looking straight at me. "I'm just glad you weren't seriously injured"

"I don't want Hakkai-san to be in Black Dragon..." Mitsuya's face was covered in worry now.

"I'll handle things from here" I looked down and gave him a nod. He sighed and placed his hand on my shoulder, reassuring me that it's going to be okay. Then, he looked at me seriously, speaking gently but firmly "Just promise me... You won't do this again..."

I only nodded. Moments have passed, and it was just me and Mitsuya sitting quietly in this awkward silence. "You guys want to eat something...? It's getting late anyway..."

"Sure, I'd love to" Mitsuya nodded.

"Since it's getting late, you guys can stay for the night. I don't mind having these girls for a sleep over" I bring the two girls into an embrace.

"Here we go again... You just get along with everyone you meet, huh?" Mitsuya chuckled.

"Well, that's up to these little ones, what do you guys want?" Mitsuya turned to his little sisters, ruffling their hair.

"Stay! Stay! Sleep over!" They both said in unison.

"How about it... We don't have pajamas for you guys... And me" He chuckled sheepishly.

"I'll try to find clothes for you guys, I think my dad's old clothes are still here, and I'll try to find my old clothes" I stood up slowly, leaving the three in the living room.

As I left the three in the living room, I headed towards the hallway, where I could hear the sound of a television, presumably coming from the living room. I then stopped when I heard Mitsuya start talking to his sisters again, "I thought I told you two to stay away from that area. You're lucky I found you both..." Mitsuya sighed and started giving them a lecture, but I wasn't really paying attention to what they were saying, since I was too focused on looking through the boxes in the hallway, hoping to find my old clothes. I couldn't find any from my dad's, but I did found some clothes of mines that's probably big enough to fit Mitsuya.

As I went through the boxes I eventually found what I was looking for, I held it up and looked at it. "Found it!" I said happily to myself. It was a simple white t-shirt and some shorts, it was nothing too fancy but it'll do. I then started walking back to the living room to give Mitsuya and his sisters their clothes. "Here you go!" I said, I handed Mitsuya a black t-shirt as I gave his sisters both pink shirts.

Mitsuya took the black t-shirt with a small smile, "Thanks" he said. I then looked at the two girls, who were both very impressed by their new clothes. "Pretty!" Luna giggled. I chuckled and ruffled her hair, and then ruffled Mana's hair too. The two sisters giggled as I did so. I then spoke, "You guys can use the bathroom down the hall. I'll be in the living room waiting" Mitsuya gave me a nod and the three of them went towards the bathroom.

I headed back to the living room and plopped down onto the couch, I let out a heavy sigh and looked at the ceiling. 'This has been a long day...' I thought to myself, I stayed in that position for a while, staring at the ceiling and just thinking.

I was lost in my thoughts until I heard Mitsuya's voice, bringing me back to reality.

"You okay?" I looked up and saw that Mitsuya was standing next to the couch, I quickly sat up and gave him a nod, "Yeah, just tired" I let out a small smile, trying to reassure him that I was fine. Mitsuya looked unconvinced, but he didn't press any further.

"Where's the girls?" I asked, as he took a seat on the couch. "They're washing up, they'll probably be finished in like– 5 minutes?" He chuckled. When I think about it, we look like a family...—

Stupid Y/n! Don't think about it!! Mitsuya must've seen me shake my head, and pinched my cheeks. "O-ouch! Mitsuya-san!"

"Sorry, you're cheeks were too pinchable" Mitsuya snickered.

I pouted at him, feeling my face heat up from embarrassment. "T-That hurt! Don't just pinch someone without warning!!" I grumbled, crossing my arms as Mitsuya let out a chuckle.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm sorry" He chuckled, "I couldn't stop myself when you were looking so..." He inched closer to me, pinching my cheeks again.

I felt my face heat up even more "S-Stop! That's enough, Mitsuya-san" I stuttered, my face becoming red. I tried swatting his hands away but he simply dodged them and continued pinching my cheeks, chuckling teasingly. "Hey, you call the others by their first names, why not call me by my first name too?"

"You call me by my last name too... You know..." I fidgeted with my tshirt.

"I might call you by your first name, If..." He spoke in a teasing tone, "You call me 'Takashi'~" My face went completely red when he said that, my heart beating even faster now.

"N-no... You're embarrassing me..." I looked away from him, still feeling very flustered. Mitsuya chuckled.

"I-I'm not calling you 'Takashi'..." I mumbled, still looking away.

Mitsuya chuckled, ruffling my hair playfully and smiling as he did so. I looked away from him, but I couldn't help but smile. "You're really something, Mitsuya-san..." I whispered to myself.

"Taka-nii, why're you guys flirting?" Luna suddenly appeared infront of us. "L-luna?! Where did you learn that word!?"

I laughed, and Mana crawled onto my lap. "Hello, you must be Mana-chan then?" I smiled, pinching her cheeks slightly. "Nee-chan! I'm Mana!"

"Yes, yes you are" I smiled. Mitsuya only smiled at us, and Luna suddenly jumps on my lap as well. "Nee-chan! I'm Luna!"

"Hello, Luna-chan" I felt like I was in heaven with these two, they were so cute I might collapse.

"Hey, I still want you to call me by my first name, it's not fair" He puffed his cheeks like a little kid, which made me laugh.

"Fine, if that's what you want... You're such a baby..." He brightened up as I said. "Takashi..san"

"Remove the '-san'! It still sounds formal, you know!"

"I-It's not my fault! I get embarrassed easily!" I blurted out, feeling my face flush even more. "Y-You're just teasing me on purpose, aren't you?" I puffed out my cheeks, feeling slightly frustrated.

"And I-" I stopped for a moment and let out a small sigh. I then spoke again, looking at Mitsuya. "Fine... T-Takashi-kun..." I mumbled, still feeling flustered.

Mitsuya chuckled as he heard me call him by his first name, "There you go, Y/n-chan. See? It wasn't so hard, was it?" He teased, a smirk still plastered on his face.

"Y-Yeah, whatever. Don't make a big deal out of it." I tried to act nonchalant, but I could tell that Mitsuya could see through my facade. Luna and Mana only looked back and forth between me and Mitsuya, feeling an awkward air in the atmosphere.
