[18] Involving Conflicts

"I'm sure they're happy" I smiled as Mitsuya, making his eyes grow wide. "I mean, they have an amazing brother with them," I turned to the siblings, "right girls?" To which they both nodded.

I turned back to Mitsuya to see him flustered up and tinted red from his ears and cheeks. "Plus, I'm here to play with them, aren't I? You can always call me over if you need help with them"

"I-...uh-... Thank you... Y/n" He scratched the back of his neck, completely embarrassed. "Takashi"

"Yeah?" Mitsuya turned to me.
"Can I talk to you about something?"

I invited Mitsuya out to the park. As we walked through the pavement, it was as quiet as it could be, until Mitsuya broke that silence. "So? What did you want to talk about"

"Um..." I pondered for a moment, and that vision occurred to me. "Hakkai... He can't be in Black Dragon"

Mitsuya stopped, and looked at me. "I-I don't know why okay? B-but!... The outcome won't be pretty"

"Y/n... About that... I've already talked to his elder brother" Mitsuya quivered. "Don't tell me you let him stay in Black Dragon!" I jerked up.

"Y/n, you have to understand- It's for Yuzuha's sake as well, you see—"

"I get the gist, but do you think a guy like him will compromise!?" I answered back. "I've seen what he's like... He doesn't even hold back, even if it's a girl, even if it's his family"

"If it's not possible to get Hakkai back now before it's too late... I'm just worried he'll do sometiing stupid...!" I clenched my fists, but he put his hand on mine, wrapping his in my fist. "This is Hakkai we're talking about here, he's strong..." You don't understand, Mitsuya... If we don't stop Hakkai now, all of what I saw will happen!...

"Please, Takashi" I pleaded one last time. "Me and Taiju already made a truce... I... We can't"

"But I can" I furrowed my brows. "What?"

"I'm not a part of Toman, right?" I pulled away. "Then I'll bring him back myself" Mitsuya then yelled out, "Are you crazy?!"

"I'm telling you Takashi, I can't explain, but something bad's gonna happen if we let things be!"

Mitsuya sighed, clearly frustrated. "What do you expect me to do?" He asked, his tone sharp. I could sense his anger at the situation, but I had to do something.

"Anything... just please..." I felt desperation creeping into my voice. Mitsuya seemed to sense it as well, and his expression softened slightly.
He rubbed his forehead, contemplating what to do. "How do you even expect me to do something?"

I furrowed my brows, searching for an answer. "I..." I couldn't think of anything. I had no plan, just a strong urge to save Hakkai and prevent the tragic outcome I'd seen. Mitsuya saw my hesitation and frustration.

"You see?" he said, crossing his arms. "It's not that easy"

"But-" I started, but Mitsuya cut me off.

"No more buts, Y/n" His tone was firm. "You have to understand... It's not that simple" Mitsuya softened his voice, taking a deep breath.

"I understand how you feel, but you can't just meddle in other gangs' business"
I felt a pang of frustration. "Then what should I do?! Just wait for something terrible to happen?"

"How are you so sure something bad is gonna happen?"

"How am I so sure?" I repeated his words, frustration building up. "I don't know... It's just a feeling" I tried to explain, even though it sounded ridiculous. How am I gonna explain the future vision I had...

"A feeling...?" Mitsuya raised an eyebrow. "Do you hear yourself?"

"I know how you feel... But I'm also respecting Hakkai's decision... He did this so he could protect Yuzuha"

"You know what... Forget it" If he won't help, then I just have to get through this myself... Surely Hakkai will listen... Right..??

"Y/n! Get back here!" He said in the distance as I start to walk away to Hakkai's.

The vision occurs to me again. Mitsuya's unconscious body, the yell of Hakkai, and... 'Taiju... I'll k-kill...y-you...'

The thought ran through my head endlessly until I got to Hakkai's. Can't run away anymore. Have to get Hakkai back or everything that happened in that vision will happen...!

I sighed. Takemichi better thank me someday when he finds out it was me who's gonna stop this... Just made his work even easier.
