Long Time No See

when I reached the top of the stairs I saw my mom lying on the couch sleeping peacefully and I cried again. She had make staining her cheeks. Harry came over to me hugging me and lay a single kiss on my forehead. Just then I realized that I need to call Brooke. I pulled away from Harry.

Wiping my eyes I put my hand to my eat in the shape of a phone.

"You want me to get your?" He asked knowingly. I must have been good at charades.

I just nodded as he walked downstairs. I poured myself a glass of milk when I heard a gasp.

"Ads did you know he sent you this...." he asked showing me the text from Louis.

"You don't think he could've...killed my dad?" I choked out.

"Addy we don't know what he's capable of..." he trailed off.

Could I have saved him? Could Louis not have gotten away with it if I just came to my senses sooner? When I received it I just ignored it. This was in no way shape or form Louis' fault, it was mine. And realizing this make me break down, again.

"Addy did you know about this message?" he asked walking towards me.

I nodded as tears spilled down my cheeks. "He couldn't have done this"

"Adeline stop this isn't your fault." he pressed his lips to mine. He caught me off guard but I quickly caught on with him. He swiped his tongue on my lip for permission to come in, and by doing the same back our kiss became wild.
