|| AUTHOR'S POV ||
Aeri rang the doorbell at Mr. Jeon's house, clutching her backpack tightly.
When the door opened, Mr. Jeon appeared, dressed in a white shirt and grey pants.
"Good morning, Ms. Song," he greeted her.
"Good morning, Mr. Jeon," she replied as she stepped inside.
As she glanced around, she noticed the house was simply decorated, predominantly with black furniture.
"You can sit on the couch," he offered, and she nodded before taking a seat.
"Would you like some coffee?" he inquired, but Aeri shook her head to decline.
"No thanks", she said setting her bag beside her
"Mr Jeon", she called out his name resulting in him turning to look at her
"Why did you tell my mom that I failed my exams, Mr. Jeon?" Aeri questioned as Jungkook looked at her while she sat on the chair.
"I chose not to disclose that i failed my exam to my mom ," Aeri told Jungkook, who had a smirk on his face.
"That was meant to be kept a secret," Aeri muttered, taking out her books from her bag.
"You're not just hiding that one secret from your mom," Jungkook mentioned, pulling a chair next to Aeri and sitting down.
"What do you mean?" Aeri asked, confused.
"Being in a club and almost sleeping with me," Jungkook said with a raised eyebrow, causing Aeri to nearly choke on her saliva.
"I wasn't drunk, I remember everything, Aeri," Jungkook added, taking the book from her hand as she stared at him in disbelief.
"Will you tell my mom?" she asked, her eyes taking on a pleading look.
"No, not unless you start behaving well," replied Jungkook, gently patting her head.
"What do you mean by 'behaving well'?" she inquired.
"Just listen to me," he said, leaning back in his chair and glancing at her legs.
"What do you want me to do?" Aeri asked, looking at Jungkook.
He smiled, a mischievous gleam in his eyes, moving closer to her. Their closeness made her breath hitch.
"Why did you purchase this house?" she questioned, as Jungkook let out a deep chuckle.
"I thought the reason was pretty obvious all along," Jungkook said, rolling up his sleeves.
Aeri's gaze fell on his tattoos and veins, making him look irresistible.
Aeri's phone suddenly rang, bringing her back to reality. She cleared her throat and answered the call.
"Mom?"
"Get ready for the date, honey. The dress is ready."
"But, Mom-"
"Don't keep San waiting."
With that, the call ended. Aeri checked the time and then looked at Jungkook, who was still watching her.
"I have to leave," she said, gathering her books.
"But we haven't even started yet," Jungkook said, looking at her.
"I really have to go, Mr. Jeon," Aeri replied, standing up. He held her wrist.
"Where are you going?" he asked
She kept stepping back as he advanced towards her, eventually pressing her against the wall.
"Mr. Jeon," she whispered softly.
"Jungkook," he corrected, his hands on either side of her.
"I-I have to..." she began but was interrupted by his hush as he leaned in closer, his warm breath against her skin.
"Your secrets aren't safe with me," he murmured in a low voice, sending a shiver down her spine.
"Obey me, or your mom will find out everything," he warned, stepping back with his hands in his pockets as she stood there, stunned by the turn of events.
"Mr. Je-"
"Enjoy," he said abruptly, leaving Aeri to nod and hurry out of the room.
