Denis-

It has been six weeks since Nova left.

The boys and I were currently touring and happened to be in Ukraine.

Fans were curious as to why I hadn't posted any updates on the baby and why Nova and I were apart, and I was beginning to have trouble keeping them from harassing us about it.

I still had not thought of a way to win Nova back until the day we stopped by my home to sleep.

I was looking around the house, staring at all her things when Ben shook some sense into me.

"Denis, staring at her stuff won't bring her back." He sighed.

"But it makes me feel closer to her, where could she have gone Ben? She had a suitcase and barely any money. She blocked our numbers, how can I reach out to someone that doesn't want to be found."

"You write a damn good song." Ben laughed.

"That's a great idea." I smiled.

"I was fucking with you."

"But it's actually a great idea, I could show Nova how I feel through a song."

"Denis what is it going to be called? 'I cheated and didn't want a baby....sorry?'" He rolled his eyes.

"I won't give in." I smiled.

"What?"

"When I was winning her back the first time I told her that I wouldn't give in. It's perfect." I smiled.

"Okay, I'll get started on guitar, you start on your lyrics."

I nodded and began writing, pouring my heart out to Nova in the best way that I knew how.

I looked down at my paper and handed it to Ben.

He nodded.

"I like it. It has passion and that's exactly what we need for your first new song with us." Ben smiled.

"Now how are we going to release it?" I asked.

"We play it live and tell our fans to get it everywhere so she cannot ignore it."

I smiled.

Nova would hopefully be back in my arms soon.

My phone was blowing up with tweets and texts.

What the hell was going on?

I opened it and clicked on the link that so many people were sending me.

'Asking Alexandria Live new song 'I won't give in'' it read.

I rolled my eyes.

I didn't want to see this. It hurt seeing Denis be so happy on stage, like he didn't even miss me.

But he looked different in the thumbnail. He looked like he was hurting.

I sighed.

What's the worst that this song could say?

Denis began to speak to the crowd as it was silent in the arena they were playing.

"Get your phones out and record this. I want all of you to send this video to Nova." He took a second to drink some water and then went back to talking.

"Nova, I messed up big time. And I know that you want nothing to do with me right now, but I won't give in. This song is for you." He nodded at Ben as they all started to sing something that echoed.

They started to play their instruments and Denis began to sing.

His words connected with me. Reaching towards my heart as he belted out the lyrics with such passion.

The song ended and he was crying.

"I love you." He whispered, as the stage went black and the video ended.

He wrote a song for me.

He wrote a song about me.

I was giddy, smiling like a child who had just gotten some candy.

Suddenly there was a sharp pain in my stomach, causing me to jolt up and scream.

"Grandpa!" I yelled.

"Nova! Is everything alright?" He ran in quickly.

I shook my head.

"The baby.... Get me to the hospital." I began to cry.

He quickly picked me up and carried me to his car, speeding to the hospital and running me into the ER.

They immediately got me into a room and brought in a woman with an ultrasound machine and a Doppler.

After a few moments of searching for a heartbeat her face fell.

"What is it?" I asked.

"I'm so sorry miss Reed, your baby is dead."

"N....no that couldn't be. I did everything right!" I began sobbing.

"I'm so sorry. We will have to take you into surgery to remove the embryo." She looked truly sad for me.

I nodded.

"C....can I call the father first?"

She nodded.

My grandfather handed me my cell phone, Denis's number pre-dialed.

I hit the green button and it rang once immediately being picked up.

"Nova! You saw the video." He sounded so happy.

"Denis you need to come to the hospital. The baby is dead."

A/N: This chapter was so depressing to write. This book is so depressing right now. I'll make it happy soon. I promise.

Also I'm sorry for how cliche Denis writing to song for Nova was....but the book is called I won't Give in for a reason.
