Twi Twi (Bella and Edward x Oc)

Everyone made their way into the green house looking at all the plants, Mr.Molina was showing the boys how to make compost tea with Erik's help. Tyler almost drink it.

Me and Belle were slowly making our way through when we say Edward just standing there. I rolled my eyes, Bella and I brushing past him trying to ignore him.

"What's in Jacksonville?" 'Trying' being  the key word.

I gave him a side eye and let Bella answer him, "how do you know about that?" She looked back at him with a puzzled look. He paused a second, "I..You didn't answer my question."

Me and Belle scoffed, "you don't answer any of ours, so..."
"Yeah, you didn't even say hi to us before you jumped us with your question," I looked at him and his face looked resigned, he looked at me and rolled his eyes looking away. I turned back around with a smirk.

"Hi."

I found this funny, Bella on the other hand, scoffed and rolled her eyes so hard I felt it. Though her reaction made me snicker a bit.

Bella pursed her lips and turned slightly to Edward, not fully facing him or looking at him. "Are you gonna tell me how you stopped the van?" I hummed with her question, keeping an eye on the line so we don't bump into anybody or trip (Bella). "Yeah, I had an adrenaline rush. It's very common. You can Google it."

"Bullshit," I mutter loud enough for Bella to hear. She nodded, "Floridians, that's what's in Jacksonvil-" Bella stumbled, I had my hand on her stomach while Edward grabbed her arm; we made sure she was on her feet before we let her go and I shook off the slight scare. I'm never gonna get used to it.

"Can you at least watch where you walk?" I gave him a hard stare, he adjusted himself as if Belle also gave him a scare, the thought had me softening my gaze and eventually moving it. I squeezed Bella's hand and lightly tugged her forward "Look, I'm sorry for being rude all the time. I just think it's the best way."

Before either of us could say anything Jessica ran up to us, "Bella, Maeve! Guess who asked me to prom!" Edward gave a one more look before striding off.

Jessica talked Belle's ear off, while I zoned out, though Belle probably wasn't listening much either.

Eventually, when we were walking back to the buses Erik put a stick with a worm in our faces. Belle moved her face out of the way, but I grabbed the worm and threw it at Erik. He shrieked and frantically wiped the worm out of his hair, "Maeve! Why would you do that?!" I was wheezing, clutching my stomach, with tears in my eyes.

I calmed down and took a deep breath, "You started it, you dunce." I put my hand on my hip, "so don't get huffy with me, buddy."
Bella grabbed my hand and pulled me away, laughing a bit and rolling her eyes.

"Come on, I can't take you anywhere."

I looked back when I heard footsteps approaching us, Bella followed when she noticed me looking. We saw Edward come up beside us.
"We shouldn't be friends, me with you two." Belle and I shared a look and stared at him incredulously.
I shook my head and put my hands on my hips, "you really should have figured that out a little earlier, you know before we had any connection at all," the more I thought about the more I felt my face heat up, "at this point you should have just let the van crush us, since you so clearly regret not doing so." Bella nodded also hurt by his sudden decision, "just save yourself all this regret."

He looked at us like we said the stupidest thing ever, "you think I regret saving you both?"

He looked us both in the eye and we both held the contact. When his gaze was on Bella again she made sure he knew she meant what she said, "We can see that you do. We just.... we don't know why."

He leaned close to our faces and whispered, "You don't know anything," his voice, despite the topic of conversation, sent a pleasurable chill down my spine and his breath was like fresh air on a snowy morning, with a scent I couldn't place.

I saw Edward's sister, Alice, walk up beside us and I gave her a smile and wave, doing the same to her boyfriend, Jasper, getting one back in return from both of them (surprisingly), though Jasper's was more of a grimace than a smile.

"Hi! Um are you gonna be riding with us?"

Before I could politely decline, definitely not wanting to be on the bus or anywhere near Edward right now, Edward so rudely made his decision clear, "No. Our bus is full."

I gave him a full glare, the softness I felt earlier vanishing. I grabbed Belle's hand, I had dropped it when throwing the worm at Erik, and stormed away towards our bus.

Bella and I walked up to our lunch table and before we even sat down, "La push babies. You in?"

"Should we know what that is?" Bella pulled a cute face displaying her confusion.

"La Push Beach down at the Quileute Rez. We're all going tomorrow." Mike was kind enough to inform us. I zoned out already deciding to not go, not because I don't wanna but because I already had plans.

Belle's voice brought me back to the conversation, "I'll go if you stop saying that, okay? but May's busy tomorrow so she can't come." Erik made a noise and pulled a puppy face, "but...but Maeve! You have to come ya just have to! Who's gonna be my wing woman if you're not there!" I laughed as he put his hands on the table and looked me in the eyes.

I pushed his face back and rolled my eyes, "Just don't wuss out man and I might join if I finish up early alright?" He brightened and gave me a thumbs up. I gathered my stuff before the bell rang, ready to go to class but not ready to see Edward.
