Twi Twi (Bella and Edward x Oc)

It was after school and Bella dropped me off at  the cozy cafe for Seth's tutoring lesson. Edward had to go hunting so he left the truck in the parking lot for us.

Leah, Seth's sister, was coming today to meet me. So I was sitting here, with a coffee, and  reading a book.

I looked up when I heard a ding of the bell above the door. I saw Seth's bright face standing at the door and waved him over, he grinned and beelined towards me. Behind him, a girl with the same russet skin and dark hair followed him. She must be Leah. Her face was calm and she had a chill vibe to her.

I stood up and accepted Seth's hug, then stuck my hand out to Leah. "Hello, you must be Seth's sister. I'm Maeve Thacker."

She took my hand in a firm grip. "Leah. Seth talks about you a lot."
I gave her a grin and sat down and gestured for them to do the same. "All good things I hope."

I looked at Seth and pushed a plate of pastries I ordered towards him. He looked at me with a big grin and dug in.

Turning back to Leah I asked, "Are there any questions or concerns you want to ask me? Cause I can understand being skeptical about a stranger hanging around your younger brother."
"Yeah I was at first but Billy reassured me that you were a good person and Seth likes you too. I just wanted to confirm their words and meet you." She looked at Seth and had small smile form on her face.

I could see how much she loved him and just her showing up and making sure he wasn't hanging around a strange person said volumes of how much she cares.
"Let me give you my phone number, so you can call me anytime."

She nodded and handed me her phone. I put my number in and put my contact as my name with a smiley face. I handed the phone back and she sent me a text so I had her number too.

Leah ended up staying for the rest of the tutoring which only lasted about an hour before we wrapped it up.

I was about to text Bella to ask her to pick me up. "I can give you a ride if you want." Leah offered.

I gave her a smile and nodded, "That would be great, thanks." As Leah drove, me and Seth played silly car games and talked about random things.
"So, I heard from Jacob that you and Isabella Swan are together." Seth looked at me with big brown eyes, curiosity sparkling in them.

I gave him a grin and nodded proudly, "yep she's my wonderful, amazing, beautiful girlfriend. We will have been together three years in May."

His face expressed his awe. "Wow! You've been together for a while. Leah is also in a relationship! His name is Sam Uley."

I look to Leah with a smirk, "oooh? I should've known you were in a relationship, you've got the looks and the personality." I wiggled my brows at her, "how long have you been together?"

She bashfully rolled her eyes, a grin pulling at her lips, "We've been together just over three years. He's the sweetest; my cousin, Emily, is coming to visit in March so I can introduce them."

"That's nice. I wish my 'family' cared enough to know who I'm dating," I rolled my eyes and shook off the thought, bringing up a different topic for the rest of the ride

As we pulled up to Charlie's house I could see Bella washing the truck with her earbuds in. She waved when she saw me hop out of the car.

"Thank you for the ride Leah. I'll see you around and we should definitely hang out some time." She nodded.
"Yeah sounds fun."

I smiled at Seth, "and you, don't cause to much trouble for your sister." He playfully gasped, pretending to be offended.
I laughed and waved them off as they drove away.

Belle pulled into a hug and gave me a kiss. There was a thunk on the truck that made us flinch. I looked at Edward as he chuckled at us. He hopped off the truck with ease.

Bella scoffed, “Could you act human? I mean, I’ve got neighbors.”
Completely ignoring her words he walked around us and stood in front of us.
“I’m gonna take you to my place tomorrow.”  He leaned over and pulled out the dent from the van incident. As he pulled back I could smell his delicious scent waft into my face.

“Thanks,” I sighed.
“Wait, like with your family?” Bella fumbled out.
Edward furrowed his brow, “yeah.”
“What if they don’t like us?” Belle worried her lip between her teeth.
“Yeah, plus what if they don’t want us there?” We both took a small step towards him and he took one back to keep the distance between us.
“So, you're worried not because you’ll be in a house full of vampires, but because you don’t think they'll approve of you or will be uncomfortable around you?”

I rolled my eyes, “glad we amuse you Eddie.”
He looked down the road with a frustrated expression, as if hearing something our human ears couldn’t.
“What is it?” Belle asked.
“Complication.” He said simply.
He gave a sigh and feather lightly grazed a knuckle across our cheek. “I’ll pick you up tomorrow.” He walked to his car and started driving away. I watched as he passed a familiar truck, Billy’s and Jacob’s.

The truck pulled in with Jacob in the driver’s seat. He got out and got Billy’s wheelchair out of the truck’s bed.
Bella wiped her hands and made her way over to them, with me close behind. “Hey, come to visit your truck?”
Jacob gave a small chuckle. “Looks good, see you got that dent out.”
“Yeah.”
“Actually, we came to visit your flat-screen.” Billy chimed in. “First Mariners game of the season. Plus Jacob here keeps bugging me about seeing you again.” I thought about whether I should be peeved about that but let it go, dismissing it as him being her childhood friend.
“Great, dad. Thanks.” Jacob muttered.
“Just keeping it real, son.” Billy’s response made me stifle a laugh.

Charlie walked up and started pushing Billy to the steps. They talked briefly about the animal attacks and Charlie pulled Billy up the steps he said, “ Don’t want anybody getting hurt, do we?” Billy looked us in the eyes when he said this. The real meaning of his words were clear to us.

I was sad writing about Leah and Sam's relationship :(

I bet she was so happy before Emily visited.
Not that it's Emily's fault though.
