Percy: standing in the kitchen, eyes glued to the open fridge as she pulls out a jar of pickles "Okay, okay, this has to be a joke. Pickles. Of all things."

Chaos: appearing behind her, trying to act casual "Pickles? You're craving pickles?"

Percy: nodding, taking a bite from the jar "I don't even like pickles, Chaos. What is happening to me?"

Chaos: watching her with a smirk "Well, you are carrying a primordial child, so... maybe your cravings are just as chaotic as your situation."

Percy: rolling her eyes, her mouth full of pickles "I thought the water god in me would be more about, I don't know, fish or something."

Chaos: raising an eyebrow "Fish, huh? Maybe you're just not thinking big enough. What about lava-cooked fish?"

Percy: spitting out the pickle in surprise "Lava-cooked—what? Are you out of your mind? You're seriously going to make me eat lava-cooked fish?"

Chaos: grinning mischievously "I was just throwing ideas out there. Don't knock it till you try it."

Percy: squinting at him, now picking out a spoon to dig into a jar of peanut butter "I swear to the gods, I'm about to develop a weird taste for you."

Chaos: leaning in closer, trying to get a look at the jar "Peanut butter and pickles... now that's an interesting combination."

Percy: pauses, staring at the jar "Wait... maybe that's it. Maybe the child just wants all the weird things... at once."

Chaos: nodding seriously "The child's got taste. It's chaotic, unpredictable... I approve."

Percy: groaning as she mixes the pickles and peanut butter on her plate "This is a bad idea—I should have never trusted you to tell me what to eat."

Chaos: watching with amusement as she takes a bite "Well, how is it? Is it... divine?"

Percy: chewing slowly, then raising an eyebrow "...It's not terrible. I think I might have just created something new."

Chaos: grinning "See? I knew you had it in you. It's just the power of primordial cravings."

Percy: mock glaring at him, but secretly enjoying the weird combination "Don't get used to it. This is a one-time thing."

Chaos: with an exaggerated bow "Of course. Whatever the future mother of my child desires... I shall provide. Within reason, of course."

Percy: rolling her eyes but smiling "Yeah, well, I'm still waiting on those lava-cooked fish, so don't get too comfortable."

Chaos: laughing lightly "I'll make a note of it. No lava cooking for now—pickles and peanut butter, though... maybe we've stumbled upon a new delicacy."
