A new high school year has begun which can represent the beginning or the end of a stage in any student's life. Everyone moves on a specific path so you just have to be patient and see where this all ends.

It was finally the first day of high school and the two groups were waiting for this day because it meant the first day of their last year at Hazdan High School. Of course, this whole experience was unforgettable for everyone because they had true friendships, special memories, but also traumatic moments. In the end, all these things bring them together in a certain way.

AMARI is getting ready to start the new day when her father knocks on the door.

"Honey, don't forget that we're leaving in 20 minutes" says her father from behind the closed door
"Yes, dad, I'll be ready as soon as I can," the girl replies, applying mascara.
"Breakfast is in the kitchen, get settled, I don't want you to be late".
"I'm almost ready, dad".

Then she receives a notification on WhatsApp and specifically from the "ART" group, an abbreviation of the names of the three friends: AMARI, REYNA, TRISTAN. When they first met in primary school, TRISTAN was the one who came up with the name and since then they've kept the nickname.

AMARI glances at his phone after putting on lipstick.

TRISTAN: What do mythical creatures do?

REYNA: Wait for the message from your royal highness.

TRISTAN: Oh my, I didn't expect it, what occasion?

REYNA: You said you were coming to pick me up?? I've been waiting for you for half an hour.

TRISTAN: Ah yes...I said that...I'll be there in a few minutes.

REYNA: TRISTAN WHEN YOU GET HERE I'LL PUNCH YOU IN YOUR -
REYNA: I won't finish that for your sake

TRISTAN: Hey hey maybe I won't come anymore .

AMARI: People, calm down, it's such a beautiful day.

REYNA: It would have been even more beautiful if this dipshit hadn't forgotten about me.

TRISTAN: How could I forget about you, my little burden?? I'm in front of your house.
TRISTAN: AMARI is your father taking you?

AMARI: Yes, as always, we'll see each other at school.

TRISTAN: See you. REYNA also says bye.

While for some this day would have gone so well, for others it was total chaos.

"MOM have you seen my uniform?" says JAKE meeting his mother's eyes.
"It was in the laundry, I'll go get it for you right away, honey, go eat something before you leave".
"Thanks" the boy shouts after which he goes to the table where he sees his father and younger brother.
"Hey Jake" says the little boy showing all his teeth, including the missing ones.
"Morning Archie. Good morning dad".
"Bye son. Eat well, you know you need energy for training" .
"Yeah, I was hungry anyway".

The three of them eat in silence for the next few moments.

"Honey, I left your uniform in the bedroom. What time did you say school starts?"
"8:30" he says and looks at his watch "I have about an hour left"
The father looks at his watch too "Son it's 8"
JAKE looks at his watch one more time "Oh my god the batteries in my watch died" then he runs as fast as he can to his room and while he's changing he gets a call.

"JAKE you said you were coming to pick me up, do you have a long time until you get there?"
"Ah about that, I didn't even leave home.. sorry I didn't know what time it is"
"JAKE how are the others going to think we're together when you're not even bringing me to high school?"
"Tell DAMIEN to bring you, that way they'll know you're with me and that I trust you to leave with DAMIEN"
"Ahem, there's going to be a lot more commotion, let me call MADDIE to see where she is"
"Yeah you sho -" the girl hung up before he could finish.
