RandyRandy went back to his car and sat there for a good ten minutes before driving down the street and pulling into the Loomis’ driveway. Nobody else was here, just yn. He didn't even get to the door before yn was opening it and stepping out, looking around cautiously. “What're you doing?” He knew what she was doing. She was looking to make sure the creep that called her was hiding in the shadows. Little did she know she was inviting said creep into her home.
“Making sure nobody is hiding and waiting to jump out.”
He walked up to her and looked around. “Why would that happen? Are you in a scary movie or something? I meanings more likely that their hiding inside the house.”
She looked at me with wide eyes. “What? Why would you say that, Randy?!”
“Calm down. Nobody is inside your house. Why are you so jumpy?”
She walked inside, and he followed, closing the door behind him. “Lock it.” He raised an eyebrow and looked at her confused. He needed to play along. Act like it was any other day. Talk about horror movies and the rules, the whole nine. He turned around and locked the door. “Happy?” She nodded and led him into the kitchen.
“So, what's up? Why'd you want me to come over? Where's Billy and your dad?”
“Dads at work like always. Billy is over at Stu's house.”
“Okay, now, you want to tell me why you're so freaked out?”
“Someone called me.”
“Someone called you. Do you know who it was?”
She shook her head. “No. But they followed me today, and they were definitely outside looking through the windows. They knew what movie I was watching an–and they told me themselves that they followed me to the mall. They know what I bought, Randy! What if this is the same person who kil–who killed Casey and Steve?”
“Oh, my god, yn. Did you call anybody? Your dad or Billy? Maybe you should call Dewey.”
She shook her head, “I called Billy, and he dismissed me. Told me I was overreacting. And I don't want to start a whole uproar or have the new outlets all over our lawn. Especially Gale Weathers. She's already trying to get me to talk to her about what I saw.”
“Okay, well, I'm here now. I won't let anything happen. Have you eaten?” This was his chance to take care of her. Show her how much he cares about her. Maybe get her to come around again. After he kissed her up at the cabin, she shied away from him. “How about I order something, or we can go out and go to that fifties style diner for burgers and shakes.”
She didn't say anything, only shrugging her shoulders. Randy walked around the counter, coming up beside her and putting his arm around her shoulder. “I'm not going to let anything happen to you, I promise.” Shs turned to him and wrapped her arms around his waist, burying her face in his chest. Randy pulled her closer, resting his chin on top of her head, and smiled. He's gotten what he wanted. She's in his arms, taking comfort from him.
“How about those burgers and shakes? Get you away from the house.”
Yn nodded into his chest. He took the risk and slid his hands down to her hips. It took everything in his not to move them down to her ass. It was hard enough with her tirs pressed against him. “How about you go get dressed?” He pulled her back to look down at her. She was so beautiful. His hand moved up to push her hair behind her ear. “You're so beautiful.”
A pink dusting spread across her cheeks, and she ducked her head. “That's–thank you. But you don't have to say stuff like that, Randy. Actually, you probably shouldn't. Not if you don't mean it or even like me in that kind…”
He had to make the rambling and self-doubt stop, so he kissed her. He just grabbed her face and kissed her. He moved his hands back to her hips and pulled her even closer. He's always thought that the geek should get the girl, and here he is, getting the girl. The girls he's always dreamed of having.
He pulled back, and she let out breath, eyes still closed. “You really need to stop the rambling.” She had her hands pressed against his chest and finally looked up at him. “Well, that's one way to shut me up.” He slowly moved his hands down until they cupped her ass, making her gasp. “We could skip the burgers and shakes. I think I might be hungry for something else.”
Her cheeks started turning a darker shade of pink, eyes cast to the floor. Randy didn't give her any time to think. She let out a surprised yelp, and he sat her on the counter. His hands slid up her bare thighs, nudging her legs apart to stand in between them. Yn let out a nervous laugh. “Randy, I don't think…”
The door opening and closing had them pulling apart. Randy pushed himself backward to the counter across from her just as Billy walked into the kitchen. looked between them. He walked closer and looked over yn seeing what she was wearing, then looked over at Randy. “The fuck are you doing to my sister, Meeks?”
Randy shook his head, “Nothing. She called me because she was scared about someone calling her. I came over right away to make sure she wasn't alone.”
“So you weren't just standing in front of her with your hands on her?”
Randy's heart rate picked up slightly and he laughed nervously. “Come on, man, you know I would never do anything to her she didn't want me to.”
“She's sixteen.”
“I'm almost seventeen.”
Billy looked over at her with a glare. “You're not supposed to have boys in the house when you're by yourself.”
“Yeah, well, when I called you and told you what happened and that I was scared, you just told me I was being dramatic. And you said Tatum and Sidney were with you and Stu. Randy was the only person left. The only person that doesn't question me and actually cares.”
“Please, he doesn't care about you. He only cares about getting in your pants. He's a horror freak who gets off on girls being scared. Isn't that right, Meeks. Wouldn't put it past him to creep outside and look through your bedroom window.
Randy swallowed a lump in his throat and tried to keep his shit together. “That's more your style.”
Billy walked up to him, grabbing the front of his first into his fist. “Stay the fuck away from my sister.”
“Why do you care? Hmm? You clearing don't give a shit about her. You left her here by herself with a killer still out there roaming around.”
“Or he could be right here in front of us.”
Randy hoped Billy couldn't see just how intimated he was by him. His heart felt like it was going to pound right out of his chest. “Yeah, he could be. Where did you say you were that night?”
Billy moved him over to the kitchen door, opened it, and shoved him out into the night. “Stay the fuck away from my sister.” Randy's jaw tightened after the door slammed in his face. He stood there long enough to hear yn screaming at her brother to mind his own business and asking why he even cares, especially since he didn't care that someone was stalking her.
