Late August, 1536; Richmond Palace

~ Elizabeth ~

" Aww that is brilliant Elizabeth!" I spoke as I watched her paint in the garden with her mistress of the house. Elizabeth looked up at me and smiled widely at me. "Thank you, auntie." Her words had the mistress gasp.

"Mi Lady, you must address the Queen as your Majesty." Her words made me frown. "The Lady Elizabeth can call me what she wants. I'm her aunt after all not her Queen. She is far too young to understand royal etiquette." I spoke with a semi harsh tone.

The mistress only bowed her head and resumed her own painting. I kneeled down to Elizabeth's height. "Would you like to go see papa?" She vigorously nodded her head at my question. I helped her clean her hands before helping her off her stool. "You are dismissed, the Lady Elizabeth will be with me." I spoke at the mistress who only nodded before standing up and giving me a curtsy.

I grabbed Elizabeth's hand and gently guided her back inside the palace. My laddies in waiting who waited inside followed behind us once they spotted me. I made me way through the bustle of court. Everyone stoped and bowed as I past by.

When I made it to the other end of the palace I walked into Henry's study. I did not even bother to have myself announced for Henry doesn't mind my interruptions. He would never admit it, but her loved when I came to save him from boring parliament duties.

When I walked in Henry was busy looking over documents with Sir Cromwell. "I hope we aren't intruding on important matters?" I spoke pulling them away from their work. Cromwell gave me a small bow as Henry stood up from his desk and came around to greet me.

"Hello, my dear." He spoke before kissing my cheek. He bent down and gave Elizabeth one as well. She giggled at the feeling of prickles from his bread. "What did I do to deserve the honor of your visit, madam." He teased picking her up and spinning her around. Making her giggle in happiness.

"Henry, be careful you don't want to make her sick." I spoke with a laughter in my voice. There relationship has definitely grown since I became Queen, so has his relationship with the Lady Mary. Even the Lady Mary and I have slowly been building a bond. It will take time as my sister did ruin her and her mother, but we will get there one day.

Henry slowly stopped spinning Elizabeth before setting her back on her own two feet. "As you command, my love." Henry kissed my cheek once more."What are you two working on?" I questioned looking over at Henry's desk. "Some silly documents about annual earrings, taxes, and a bunch of boring stuff." He spoke looking bored over the matter.

"Maybe we could take a trip to my chambers." He whispered in my ear. I chuckled slightly at his antics. Since we have been married he can't seem to keep his hands off me. It's like his is possessed with dark thoughts, if you know what I mean.

"Henry, I think you have more important matters to attend to." I pointed my index finger at his desk pilled with documents, and with a mister Cromwell standing next to it trying to avoid are conversation. Henry rolled his eyes at my words. Which made me chuckle slightly at his childish actions. Every King loves his title, but hate the documents that comes with it.

Soon are conversation was interrupted by the call boy walking in. "Your Majesties." He spoke giving us a small bow. "Queen Elizabeth, the Viscountess of Beaumont has arrived." His words made me bubble up in excitement.

"I will see you later." I gave Henry a small peck on his lips before taking Elizabeth's hand walking out of his study.

"Lady Anne." I spoke to one of my laddies. She came up from behind me. "Madam?" She questioned. "Please take Elizabeth back to her mistress and nannies." I hand Elizabeth's hand to Anne who gladly took her hand guiding Elizabeth down a different hallway.

I made my way down the many corridors trying to make it back to my quarters. It took a good chunk of time, but it was worth it as my sister who I haven't seen since my coronation was wanting for me. Once she spotted me she quickly stood up from her spot and gave me a curtsy. "No need for formalities, Mary." I spoke gathering her in my embrace.

"I have missed you, Elizabeth." Mary spoke letting go of me. "Me too, now tell me how are you and your family getting along in your new home." I asked taking a seat next to Mary's seat.

"It is amazing, but it needs some new upgrades which my husband has been working on no stop and by him, I mean the men he hired. I think he doesn't know what to do with himself now that he no longer has to work to death." She spoke.

"Maybe bring him to court, let him mingle with the other men here, even bring you children. I haven't seen my niece and nephew in sometime....Oh you should bring them to the next jousting festival."

"That sounds amazing, Elizabeth." Mary spoke. She looked so happy ever since she received her title. Not having to worry about money or providing for her family. When Anne cut her off she had nothing and was constantly living in fear. Now she doesn't have to worry about it. Which I am so happy about. She did not deserve what Anne and my father did to her.

"You can also flaunt your new title in front of father. I have heard news he will be attending the festival with mother." Her eyes showed mischief and happiness. My father still hasn't recognized Mary and by putting her within his path. He will have no choice.

"I have always enjoyed your mischievous plans against father." She teased causing us both to burst full of laughter.
