~ Elizabeth ~I retired early to my quarters to exhausted from the long day. Luckily for me my father was to busy boasting over my brothers advanced placement in the tournament and paid me no mind.
My mother never showed up which was a surprise, but father told George said she did not feel up to the bustle of court.
"Madam, the king has come to visit you." One of my laddies pulled me from my book I was currently reading. I closed my book and stood up from my place next to the fireplace. Henry was soon to enter.
"Sweetheart, you will not believe how drunk your brother is tonight." Henry spoke pecking me on my lips.
"Oh I'm sure I can imagine. Being locked up with his wife for a few months must of been unbearable for him. Having no fun." I spoke with a tease holding onto his waist. "Did you speak to Willam? Mary said he has been looking forward to his introduction with you. "
Henry looked down at me with his memorizing eyes that made me fall in love with him. "Yes I did in fact. Even invited him to play some cards with me and Charles. I made you a promise." He spoke.
I know it must of been annoying for him, but I am appreciative for his willingness. I gave him a deep kiss to show him my appreciation. He clanged onto my lips drawling the kiss out longer.
I soon pulled away wanting to share my exciting news. Henry pouted at my actions making me chuckle slightly. "Henry.. I have something to share with you."
My nerves shot up and the anticipation. He titled his head in confusing indicated for me to continue. " you know how I have been sick?" I questioned.Henry nodded getting an even more concerned look on his face.
"Well..." I got close to his ear and whispered. "I am with child." I pulled away awaiting for his reaction. His eyes widened in happiness before he picked me up spinning me a few time in his arms. Being careful to not hold me too tightly.
"Henry, put me down or I'll get sick." He was quick to obey my command setting me on the ground. He then kissed me deeply once more.
"This is the most exciting news, Elizabeth! We must celebrate and let the whole country know of the new appending royal arrival." He spoke jumping around like a child in pure happiness.

Christmas Day, 1536; Hampton Court
~ Elizabeth ~
It is officially my favorite day of the year, Christmas. I love the decorations and the gathering of the court to celebrate. This year I was so happy to be the one to decide every single detail of Christmas at Hampton Court.
I have been going stir crazy this past month. Ever since I announced to Henry I was with child he has been overly protective not allowing me to lift a finger. Literally and metaphorically.
I officially have a small baby bump. Not big enough to be complete exposed from under my gown, but if you look careful you can see.
