Early November, 1536; Windsor Castle~ Elizabeth ~
Today is going be a long and joyful day. Today is Henrys big jousting festival. Every year before winter arrives he throws a huge one with a festival and parties later on in the night.
I doubt I will be able to last through all the parties. I have been so tired and exhausted from doing nothing these last weeks. All I want to do is lay down and sleep after only getting up and doing a brisk walk in the garden.
Though today I will have to push the exhaustion behind me and cheer on my husband, and the other jousters competing today.
I woke up today in not the best way. I had to throw up almost immediately. That has only happened a few times this week, but today was the worst morning I have had. I thankful had my strawberries to help settle my stomach. It's the only thing I seem to want after throwing up everything from the night before.
"Has my sister arrived yet?" I spoke to my laddies behind me as I took my morning walk in the garden. It was a warm today surprisingly. The weather has been dropping everyday, indicating winter is upon us. Though today the suns shining and it feels like it summer once again. The perfect day for a jousting competition.
"The Viscount and Viscountess of Beaumont haven't arrived yet, Madam." One of my laddies spoke. Hmm strange Mary would be bouncing off the walls right now wanting to get to court fairly early. She must be delayed by her husband. He probably is fretting over every little thing. Mary had informed me he has never been to a royal court, much less as a noble coming to court to present his own family.
My father got word of their presence being allowed at court for the festival. He has of course boasted his opinion to me in many letters. Most never opened as I had no mind to listen.
I suddenly felt another wave of nausea and nearly tumbled down trying to grasp and the nearby statue. My laddies all rushed to my side helping me stand. Concern written all cross their faces.
"Are you alright, your Majesty." Lady Catherine spoke with a worried tone in her voice. I waited for a few seconds intel the nausea had passed. I stood up and put a smile on my face. "Perfectly fine, just still sick with the stomach bug that is going around court." I assured them.

"Hello, my dear." I spoke as a rounded Henry's saddled up horse.
Once he notice my presence he light up like the stars in the sky. "Hello, sweetheart." He embraced me in a small hug with a kiss on the lips. "You ready for the competition?"
"Of course. Besides George has decided to participate this year. I'm excited to see my brother compete."I happily spoke recalling the letter I received early today from my dear brother. He has been away at his estate with his wife the Viscountess Jane. She is expecting their first child and wanted some fresh air for sometime.
We were soon interrupted by a pager boy. "Your Majesties." He bowed. "Madam, your sister has arrived." His words had me jumping in joy.
"Make sure they get settled into there quarters. They have had a long journey from their estate." I spoke with a serious tone. The young boy nodded before leaving us.
