LEANNE SAT SILENTLY beside Sarah. John B was in court today, and she needed to be there for her friend. Their hands were laced together as they listened to the judge. When the words death penalty came out of her mouth all hell broke loose.
Kiara was angry and went off on Ward, rightfully so. They were pushed off to the side, like usual. Leanne was sick of it.
They went back John B's and deciphered what their plan was. Leanne didn't know what they could do. It felt like they were constantly in deep shit, and she was sick of it.
JJ wasn't thinking clearly, Kiara was going to her parents, Pope was brainstorming, Sarah was calling Wheezie, and Leanne was absolutely lost.
Leanne listened to the rain and watched it drizzle over everything. She was upset with how things were going, everyone was so separated.
Once the rain came pouring down, Leanne decided to walk home. She knew her dad would be elsewhere around this time, so she'd come and look at her room. Whatever was left of it at least.
Walking in, she felt this eery feeling wash over her. This was home, but it wasn't. Nobody she loved was there anymore. She quickly found her bedroom and went in. Her room was in the same condition, untouched.
She sat on her bed and leaned backwards, stretching out. Something she hadn't done comfortably since before this whole gold expedition. She heard a noise causing her to jump, a knock at her front door.
She went out to open the door, but paused when she seen who was there, sniffling like he'd just done a line. Leanne let out a shaky sigh, pausing.
"Leanne! I know you're there, open up," Rafe called from the other side of the door. She froze up at the sound of his voice, so full of anger. "Come on, Leanne."
"How'd you know I'd be here?" Leanne said to him on the other side of the door.
"I just knew okay? Open the damn door, Maybank! Now!" Rafe demanded. Leanne let out a small gasp and ran toward the backdoor, she'd get her stuff later. She was not fucking with him. Not anymore.
"Come on, Leanne!" Rafe shouted, running after her, toward the walkway.
The blonde let out a grunt as she pushed her speed. Rafe was catching up, he was so close she could hear his breathing. He reached out, sending them both down to the gravel.
Leanne squealed as her knee sliced open on a rock. Rafe pinned her down, and unfortunately for her, her neighbors wouldn't be able to hear her screams.
"Stop, Rafe! Stop! You're scaring me!" Leanne yelled as she quirked against his grip. She fought as hard as she could, but he was too strong. "Rafe! What do you want from me?"
"I just wanted to talk, but you Pogues make everything so damn difficult!" Rafe shouted causing her to flinch. She stopped squirming and closed her eyes.
