Chapter 12

"Twilight Sparkle and Fleetfoot!"

The voice of Miss Melody snapped her back to reality. Wow, that's an interesting team. Now she realised she pretty much missed most of the teams being called out.

"Microchips and High Winds"

"Poor Micro. Maybe he can use that brain of his to find a solution to keep Winds awake long enough to at least choose a song." Dash said quietly to Fluttershy standing next her causing both of them to giggle quietly.

"Misty Fly and Fluttershy!"

Now that's a great team. Both of them are really good friends. Dash chuckled as Misty immediately hugged Fluttershy.

"Soarin Skies aaaand Rainbow Dash!"

Dash was pretty much frozen. Soarin as well. It seems like both of them weren't expecting to be paired with each other. Their friends on the other hand though were all grinning with devilish looks.

"Oh my what a coincidence!" Fleetfoot said with an exaggerated dramatic tone earning flat looks from both Dash and Soarin while earning giggles from the others. Before the others could start teasing them the teacher told them that their 10 minutes starts now much to the relief of SoarinDash... uhh I mean Soarin and Dash.

Everyone started to move towards where the instruments were kept but not before throwing a sly look towards our favorite soon to be couple (i hope).

All of them chose their desired instruments and started searching for a song.

Soarin and Dash send to shake off the awkwardness caused by their friends for a moment to focus. They were not about to lose in this competition. One of the things they have in common is that both of them HATE losing.

"Any ideas?" Soarin asked. "Nope let's just search for something"

"Lover?"

"Nope, too cheesy. 'Exile'?"

"Nah, it's too sad. What about 'Everything Has Changed'?"

"Mm you know what? That's perfect!"

With a song fixed, both of them started to rehearse. Since the song is mostly played on a guitar, both of them chose acoustic guitars.

When it was time to start everyone gathered in front of a small stage like set up. The first team was Wave and Spitfire. They sang Bad Blood by Taylor Swift. Well I expected Spits to sing a song like that. I bet Wave just agreed to whatever she said to save his ass Dash thought to herself and laughed quietly.

Soarin and Dash were the last second team to perform. When their name was called Dash took a deep breath and made her way to the stage alongside her 'best friend'.

Hey guys I'm alive! 😂 Sry for the long long wait. Ik I've already apologized many times but it's hard to find time for writing when I'm so busy with exams and stuff. Don't forget to vote and comment! And sorry for the short chapter just wanted to get something out.

Now, I wanted to tell you guys something . I literally have exams every week as my board exams are nearing. I'm sure the Indians understand for the i think I've already told about but if not in short it's just a nation wide exam conducted for 10th and 12th grade which determines our future. Getting good marks in these exams are important if we want to choose the career of our choice. I'm sure you guys understand my pressure here. I just want to let you guys know that I won't be updating for a while now. I'm going on a hiatus till March. I'll continue to update after March 10 as that's when my exams get over. I'll be available in 抖阴社区 but just not very often. My exams starts on February 15 so yea barely two months left.

So with that out of the way, i just wanted to thank you again for all your support on this story. It reached over 3.2 k views . I never thought this story with will even cross 1k but you guys proved me wrong. And i never thought I'll get more than 2 or 3 followers much less 91 but again you proved me wrong.So thank you again. And after my exams are over I have a 3 months holiday so I will be able to post often and 11th grade is pretty laid so I will be able update more often than this year. So I'll see you again on March!
