One can felt this stillness. 

And suddenly, all the questions We'd been carrying for years—the "what-ifs" and "why-nots"—they didn't seem so heavy anymore. 

They weren't gone, but... manageable, like they belonged to someone else for a while.

We laughed more. cried, too—good tears, though. 

Tears that washed away the dust of things we didn't even know we were clinging to.

We found pieces of us in the quiet corners of a bustling market, in the echo of our own footsteps through an ancient ruin, in the salty spray of ocean waves that kissed the cheeks like they'd missed it all along.
