I felt like I was in a deep slumber, floating in darkness, until suddenly, my eyes snapped open.

My vision was hazy at first, but as I rolled my eyes around, my surroundings slowly came into focus.

My breath hitched.

Where the hell was I?

I was supposed to be on a jet, flying back home.

Then why was I lying on this unfamiliar bed?

The room was huge and spacious, adorned with lavish decor that screamed luxury.

It was different.

This was my first time here.

Wait... am I still in the Sidorov mansion?

Just as my mind started spiraling into confusion, a voice halted my thoughts.

"So, you're awake?"

My head snapped in the direction of the voice, and my heart nearly stopped.

Standing there, smirking at me, was the blue-eyed devil herself.

And just like a thunderstorm, realization struck me.

She wanted to marry me.

Oh. My. God.

I heard was her chuckle.

Oh, good lord.

I had fainted.

In front of her.

I could feel the embarrassment seeping into my very bones.

She must think I'm insane.

"Nope, Milay, you're not crazy. In fact, I found you cute."

(Milay means Sweetheart)

My eyes widened.

What?!

I looked at her, completely dumbfounded, and she chuckled again.

"Don't worry. Your face gives away your thoughts."

I averted my gaze, feeling my ears burn. "I need to leave," I muttered, trying to salvage whatever dignity I had left.

But she didn't move aside.

Instead, she came closer and sat on the bed in front of me. "Marry me."

I gaped at her in shock. "Don't be shocked, Milay. I really want to marry you."

I let out a frustrated whine. "But why?!"

She shrugged, her blue eyes twinkling with mischief. "Because I like you."

I groaned. "That doesn't mean you have to marry me! There are so many things we like, and it's just a fleeting emotion. And anyway, you will find plenty of other guys."
