Sword Art Online: Integral Factor

A/N Hello everyone and welcome back to another chapter of this story! I hope you all have enjoyed the story thus far and are not waiting too long for another chapter! I have been busy with other stories and updates with them before coming back to this one. Not to mention how I am soon to start up a new story once I got enough of the stories that are close to ending completed. So without further ado, let's begin the chapter!

"What are you asking exactly?" Izuku questioned looking over his shoulder at Bakugo.

"I'm asking you what that talk about really was, Deku. Don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about, I overheard your speech to Half'n'Half." Katsuki growled standing behind Izuku now.

"You still call your classmates by how your first appearance of them is? That's not new." Izuku retorted with a snort.

"Don't talk about that! I want to know what your fucking speech with half'n'half was!" Bakugo growled out.

"If you must know, he wanted to know how I was able to do all this without a Quirk. I just told him that I actually took this Festival seriously." Izuku replied as he prepared to leave.

"That can't be all you basically told him. There's got to be more!" Bakugo growled, his hands crackling with Nitroglycerin sweat igniting softly.

"If you're thinking about attacking me whilst I'm walking to the cafeteria, leave it for the arena." Izuku replied as he continued walking away.

He heard the boy scream in anger as he walked away as Izuku continued down the path towards the cafeteria. Entering the cafeteria, Izuku moved through the groups and cliques of people who talked to one another before finding Pony and Kendo. The two were talking amicably before noticing his presence and smiling at him and calling him over to their table.

He sat down at the table as he conversed with his classmates with a small smile on his face, something that Pony took note of. She felt worried about why he wasn't as talkative towards them before she looked over at Todoroki who had finally arrived a scowl on his face. She glanced over at Izuku before finding the young man looking at Todoroki with a disappointed expression.

She looked at the young man with concern as Izuku noticed her expression before shaking his head at her as she nodded. Focusing on their lunch they talked about who they think will accept them as an intern under which Hero they could find. Izuku however wasn't thinking about which mentor he'd get from the Sports Festival, he knew nobody would want him.

He was Quirkless after all, so nobody would want him to intern under them as soon as they found out about his diagnosis. Taking a deep breath and letting it out silently, Izuku mentally prepared for the eventual disregard from the Potential Hero mentor's he could get after the Sports Festival.

That was when Midnight's voice rang out on the intercom.

"Alright everyone, it's time to reveal who will be going up against one another for the Tournament!" Midnight's voice rang out.

"Time to go. We've got a job to do." Izuku said, with a calm expression.

"Let's do this!" Pony called out happily.

Standing in the arena, Izuku looked over at each and every student who were wanting to enter the Tournament. There was all 16 participants from the previous round that had been on teams of four and he couldn't help but smile at a few of his classmates. They had barely managed to break through and enter the last part of the Sports Festival and were ready to fight for their spot.
