A/N Hello everyone and welcome back to another chapter of this story! I hope you all haven't been waiting too long for this chapter to come out and I cannot wait until I show it of! Now I know I set up a slight tease of Koharu's grandparents having a meeting with Izuku and Inko. It will happen, just probably before the whole Summer Training Camp Incident. Most definitely just as Izuku and the others are preparing for it. Anyway, let's begin the chapter!
P.S. Chapter is relatively short to split up events! >:) Sue me. Not literally please, I have no money.
Izuku sat at his desk with a blank expression on his face. He had been thinking about who would willingly take him on as an apprentice, but he never expected to have 4000 Heroes vying for his apprenticeship! He stared at the stack of papers on his desk with a very mute expression on his face as he lifted multiple papers and paled.
"I-I didn't think my actions would g-garner that much a-attention!" Izuku said, with an appalled expression.
"Well at least you didn't make an ass out of yourself like a certain someone from Class A." Setsuna said, with a giggle.
"B-But this is impossible! I-I was Quirkless, there should've been no reason for them to want me as an apprentice!" Izuku said, as he stared at the notes of the Heroes.
"Wait, did you say was? What are you talking about?" Pony asked confused.
"D-Do you guys promise not to um... tell anyone about what I'm about to tell you all?" Izuku asked, feeling as though he shouldn't keep the information secret.
"I guess we can keep a secret, but what does this have to do with you being Quirkless? You are strong without a Quirk." Kendo asked, concerned and curious.
"S-So you know how A-All Might was our teacher for the Foundational Heroics Course?" Izuku asked, looking very worriedly at his classmates.
"Yeah, but what does he have anything to do with this?" His classmates asked, even Vlad King looked at Izuku in curiosity.
"Well... um... he didn't want me to inform you all about this since it's a secret that the government keeps hidden from the populace of Japan. But All Might gave me his quirk, so that I could become his successor." Izuku said, as everyone stared at him.
There was no people talking at the moment as Vlad King thought about All Might's presence further. The man was very finicky when it came to him searching for a successor, and the man had been very happy and told him he'd found a student worthy of taking on the mantle of the next Symbol of Peace.
But to hear from Midoriya himself that he was the chosen successor that Yagi had decided upon made him feel slightly inadequate. He chose Midoriya, a boy who had been very rightfully angry with the world of Heroes as well as how they presented the Sports Festival. So for Yagi to choose Izuku as his successor was definitely weird for the man, he expected Yagi to choose Togata.
"You're telling me, All Might... the Number 1 Hero... could give his Quirk to just about anyone... and he decided to give it to you?" Kendo asked, concerned.
"I-I mean... I'm having some weird dreams with the Quirk and everything... but that's fine right?" Izuku asked, confused.
"No, that is not fine. He gave a young man who wasn't properly trained to use the Quirk a power that has been used by him for decades. You could've gotten hurt from using it!" Vlad King called out, before rushing out of the room.
"B-But I know how to u-use the quirk without hurting m-myself!" Izuku said, looking at his classmates.
"Izuku, did you hate being Quirkless that much?" Pony asked, concerned.
