History Nerd in Another world.

A couple days had passed since we took control and defeated the king and his kin. We sat in a room, Kahoda, Cailu, Gaelira, Elonshe and I. The Queen was nervous, that was apparent and Elonshe was not leaving my side. There was a major uproar in the capital but it was quickly silenced by my soldiers. Sadly, some civilians did have to die, the riots were forced into closing by force. I was looking at a list of all the things the Kingdom of Divell had to offer in terms of resources and territory and frankly, it was quite a lot. On the continent it was one of the largest ones. 

Draven: Gaelira. 

She jumps up in her seat. 

Gaelira: Yes?

Draven: As you know, your kingdom will now be under our rule. But you will have autonomy to elect leaders and organize an army if you wish. You will be the elected leader with Cailu acting as your right hand. 

Gaelira: I understand perfectly King Draven. 

Draven: Cailu will explain everything to you, how we function. We do expect that you start functioning under our morals and laws. But that is for him to explain. What I wish to discuss with you is the resources that we want to be shipped to our land. 

Gaelira: Please don't be too harsh, I don't want my people to starve. 

Draven: Ah, no, no, we do not need crop and wheat. What I am interested in however are ores, stones, jewels and people. 

Gaelira: By people, do you mean slaves? 

Draven: No, slavery is illegal under our law. All slaves that step foot on our land are to be considered a free man. What I mean by that is smart scholars and engineers. 

Gaelira: I see. Well, there is a problem you see. We are a little short handed on that front. 

Draven: I perfectly understand. When you do manage to recoup all that you lost we do expect people to be sent to us. In terms of ore we are looking for silver, gold and iron and lead. As for the stone we do ask of marble and other luxury stones that exist. 

Gaelira: Why stone? 

Draven: To decorate and build our homes, buildings of course. Sculptures are made of marble so that is in high demand. 

Gaelira: I understand. 

Draven: I will circle everything that we request so that you are able to easily deliver it to us. 

I start circling out the things we want as Prussia, crossing out the things on the list that we have no need or use of. 

Kahoda: I need to add. Since you are a part of Prussia, if people do wish to study at our lands they have a discount on a price that foreigners would have to pay full price. You are entitled to request military assistance if necessary. 

Draven: Of course, we won't give you a single weapon of ours that you do not already use. We don't need someone to reverse engineer it and use it against us. 

Once I am done with the list I stand up, nodding to Kahoda. Elonshe clings onto me, not letting go even in the slightest. I turn to face Cailu. 

Draven: Friend, I expect you to do your job well and assist the Queen in everything that she needs. You can feel free to communicate with us using that magic I was shown at the magic academy a while back. 

Cailu: Don't worry, I will work diligently. I am obliged to do well, I owe you for everything that you had done. 

Draven: Good. It is time for us to go, my army will head back home and you will be left on your own. I do expect shipment soon, don't disappoint.
