"You know it's Minho's birthday in a day." Jisung casually added glancing at Chan.
"I'm aware." He replied while his eyes stayed glued to his laptop screen.
Changbin was out visiting his parents for the weekend while Jisung and Chan use his room as a studio. It was already past midnight so technically it wasn't even a day away.
"I mean, I thought you'd like to give him something." He added casually.
"Why would I want that?"
"Maybe because he did so much for your birthday.." Jisung turned completely to him "and the fact that neither of you returned back to the dorms that night."
The clicking of the mouse stopped abruptly and Chan's eyes lowered down to look for away, successfully distracted now. Jisung grinned at his victory.
"I.. already told you everything." Chan spoke after a moment.
"You told me shit." Jisung spat. "I don't believe that you two arch nemesis sat and had a little chit chat and somehow spend six hours?"
"Sorry, not buying it buddy." Jisung raised both his arms.
Chan sighed, rolling his eyes as he finally turned away from his laptop to look at Jisung in the eye.
"It was nothing, I already told you, what's up with the nosiness?"
"Yeah.. Yeah right. I would spend hours with someone i hate in complete silence, for hours! since we didn't do anything else."
"Oh my gosh! Fine!" Chan exclaimed. "We went to the arcade."
Jisung's eyes widened, hand instinctively going up to cover his mouth.
"You've got to be kidding?" He spoke amused. "You snuck out?"
"You!?" He aggressively pointed at Chan. "The personification of our school's rule book, snuck out?? In the middle of the night? With your enemy!?"
"Goodness can you drop it already!" Chan exclaimed getting up from his chair.
"And stop calling him my enemy, we're not kids." He spoke getting a bottle of water from the fridge and taking in a sip looking annoyed.
"Drop it!? Chan I'm underreacting right now!" Jisung was still shocked.
Hearing that Chan snuck out wasn't in his yearly list, maybe wasn't even on the lifetime list but here they were.
"It's not that big deal.." Chan murmured looking away. "He simply asked and I agreed, there's nothing more to that."
"I refuse to believe it!" Jisung raised a hand to show that he objects. "This isn't normal."
"You know what isn't normal Han Jisung?" Chan walked towards him, a newfound glint in his eyes that made Jisung vary for a second.
"I also got to know something very interesting, about you and Jungkook."
Jisung's throat went dry, somehow his ears started heating up. Jungkook felt like that constant notification on his phone that he tries so hard to deny or mute but for some reason he can't. He looked away, mouth shut tight.
"Wait- don't tell me there's actually something?" Chan sounded genuinely surprised by Jisung's reaction.
Was he expecting a defiance? For Jisung to brush it off as nothing, like he has never heard the name? Jisung didn't utter a word, the air suddenly stuffed.
