Transformers Prime: Predacon Evolution

Skyblade kept circling around Arcee, growling a bit before he then charged at her, the blue Autobot femme turning her servo into her blaster and began shooting at him, the blue and silver Predacon flying up a bit, dodging the blasts, and swooping back down, tackling Arcee and pinning both metallic paws on her arms, the said Autobot wriggling in his grasp.

Skyblade kept his grip on Arcee and went to aim a death bite to her frontal neck cables, only to feel something hitting his tail, the impact not painful, but enough to make a loud noise, the blue and silver Predacon glancing over to see Jack holding the pipe he used to fight the Scraplets, Skyblade growling in annoyance before whipping his tail at him, knocking the human male down, afterwards feeling Arcee kick one of his rear legs, the blue and silver Predacon stumbling off of her.

Skyblade composed himself and began blasting his Ice Breath at Arcee, the blue Autobot femme throwing herself out of the way, grimacing as she applied weight on her injured pede, the blue and silver Predacon immediately charging, biting into her shoulder plate until he felt her energon leak down his chin, the blue Autobot femme groaning in pain before he then spun and threw her, Arcee now having a deep mesh wound smothered in the leaking energon.

Rumbling softly in triumph, Skyblade stalked toward Arcee, his Ice Breath hovering behind his sharp dentra in anticipation to be used, and as he once again went to finish her, the all too familiar cobalt blur of Sonic rushed by before spin dashing him on his helm, the blue and silver Predacon growling, his patience wearing thin and he snapped his dentra at Sonic, the cobalt hedgehog speeding out of the way, glancing at Skyblade from pede to helm.

“You really can’t stop getting some crazy upgrades, can you bolts for brains?” Sonic remarked.

Skyblade only roared and started blasting his Ice Breath at Sonic, even going as far as snapping his dentra and whipping his tail about while Sonic dodged his attacks, the blue and silver Predacon soon then whacking a frontal metallic paw at him, his sharp steel talons just barely nicking the blue hero’s ear, who winced a bit before spin dashing him on the side of his neck cables.

Skyblade hissed in irritation and whacked his frontal metallic paw at Sonic again, missing as the cobalt hedgehog was quick to move away, the blue and silver Predacon then hearing the sound of an engine running and glancing over to see Arcee in her motorcycle form with Jack once again seated onto her taking off, the blue Autobot femme leaving behind a trail of energon.

Enraged, Skyblade took flight after them, flying high enough so that Sonic can’t reach him and kept going after Arcee and Jack with Sonic following suit, the blue and silver Predacon, blue Autobot femme, human male, and cobalt hedgehog soon entering the space bridge, Skyblade having to fly high to avoid accidentally getting struck as Megatron, still standing near the space bridge, swiped his blade at Arcee, Jack, and Sonic, the cobalt hedgehog jumping up and spin dashing the silver and purple mech, Arcee afterwards transforming into her Cybertronian self and began fighting Megatron despite her current injuries, but she seemingly didn’t care at the moment since she had a human to protect.

Skyblade spotted a few Decepticon Seekers rushing in and firing at Arcee, both Bulkhead and Bumblebee charging at them, the yellow and black Autobot scout drop kicking one Seeker while Bulkhead punched down another, Skyblade snarling before swooping down to aid his comrades, occasionally getting harassed by Sonic’s spin dashing, the blue and silver Predacon snapping his dentra at him and going back to fighting against Bumblebee or Bulkhead anytime one of then tried to attack him, Skyblade soon realizing that Jack was nowhere in sight.

Figuring that Jack was just somewhere in the chamber until the battle was over, Skyblade made a mental note to deal with him in a bit and rammed into Bumblebee, knocking the Autobot scout down and would jump at Bulkhead, slicing on the back of his shoulder plate with his talons and nipping at his leg, the green wrecker getting overwhelmed and falling down.

The sound of a ground bridge opening caught Skyblade’s attention, glancing over to see Orion Pax walking out of said ground bridge, his blue optics looking a bit determined, the arrival of the former Autobot leader causing slight confusion and unease to ripple through his husk, however he remained composed as Megatron went up to Orion, Skyblade then making sure none of the Autobots tried to get up and keep on fighting.

A moment later the sound of clashing was heard, Skyblade risking a glance over at Megatron and Orion Pax, the silver mech quickly overpowering the clerk.

“Your spark is in the right place, Orion, but now your usefulness has reached its end.” Megatron stated before pointing his fusion cannon at Orion, only to then get knocked back a bit by Sonic spin dashing him on his faceplate.

Skyblade immediately charged and snapped his dentra at Sonic, glancing over afterwards to see Jack coming out from behind a column and approaching Orion, the human male raising the hard drive up at the clerk, who glanced at him in surprise, likely knowing exactly what was in that hard drive.

“Are you certain that I’m worthy?” Orion asked.

“You have no idea.” Jack replied.

Skyblade snarled and raced after Orion and Jack, getting tackled by Bulkhead, the blue and silver Predacon biting and clawing at the green wrecker until he backed off, Skyblade standing to his metallic paws, looking over to see the Matrix of Leadership was already transported into Orion, now once more Optimus’s, spark chamber, the blue and red mech opening his optics and charging at Megatron, punching him across the faceplate.

Skyblade blasted his Ice Breath at Optimus, rushing between him and Megatron as the Autobot leader backed up a bit, Arcee, Jack, Bumblebee, Sonic, and Bulkhead stepping next to Optimus, who glanced at them, then back at Skyblade and Megatron, the blue and silver Predacon flaring his wings and growling, daring them to try to attack while the remaining Seekers began shooting at the Autobots, human male, and cobalt hedgehog just as a ground bridge appeared.

“Let’s go! Now!” Optimus ordered, afterwards him, Sonic, Jack, and the Autobots retreating, Skyblade ticked off as his enemies got away, the Seekers halting their firing afterwards.

Skyblade snarled a bit in irritation and glanced over at Megatron, who was staring where the Autobots, Sonic, and Jack were, his optics narrowed in anger and deep thought.

“At least the Iacon Relics were located before Optimus caught on.” Megatron said before he then began walking, Skyblade following suit, partially expecting to get a firm lecture once they got back aboard the Nemesis.

However, instead Megatron went straight to the command deck the moment he and Skyblade got on the Nemesis, the blue and silver Predacon still a little uncertain, but he reminded himself that the worst his leader would do was lecture him, and headed off to get himself cleaned up, even checking himself to make sure he wasn’t injured, but so far he was alright despite how many times he was attacked, and moved his wings a bit, feeling that they were slightly sore.

Figuring that he won’t be going on anymore missions for the day, Skyblade went into his quarters and laid onto his berth, head gasket resting on his frontal metallic paws, the blue and silver Predacon venting a bit, upset that Optimus was his Prime self again, but preferred that over constantly being anxious about him onboard the Nemesis where he could ambush anyone here more easily, Skyblade soon closing his optics, going into deep sleep mode for the first time in the past few days.
