Transformers Prime: Predacon Evolution

Alarms indicating the Nemesis being damaged went off and sparks rained down as the Decepticon troops rushed about in a hurry to get the aircraft repaired, Skyblade having to fight himself from covering his audials due to the sound effecting his advanced hearing, the blue and silver Predacon glancing around, seeing the damage.

“They really should have made these things go off for a shorter time.” Seabreeze complained next to Skyblade, her silver and sea-green frame tense.

“Dreadwing. Damage report.” Megatron ordered, turning to the blue and yellow Seeker.

“We have suffered critical damage to all major systems, Lord Megatron. It will be some time before we can get the ship air born.” Dreadwing reported.

“At least the whole thing didn’t explode.” Skyblade commented, glancing over as Soundwave approached, showing an image of a Cybertronian jumping at the power supply of the Nemesis and hitting it, the silent Decepticon pausing the footage and zooming in to reveal that it was Bulkhead who caused the Nemesis to crash.

“So, it was an Autobot who crippled my vessel. They will move quickly to exploit any perceived weakness.” Megatron said, Skyblade on the other hand feeling surprised that Bulkhead of all bots knew to strike right in the core of the Nemesis.

“Surely the Autobots aren’t dumb enough to launch a direct assault, my liege.” Knockout stated confidently.

“Optimus has grown decidedly more ruthless since our last encounter.” Megatron replied, then turned and headed out of the command deck.

Skyblade and Knockout exchanged confused glances before following after their leader, the three of them soon entering the supply core, Megatron going up to some dark energon cubes, his optics turning purple, the blue and silver Predacon tensing a bit, already guessing what the silver and purple mech had planned.

“Lord Megatron, as your physician, I strongly advise against this.” Knockout spoke up, sounding as worried as Skyblade felt. “Dark energon’s regenerative properties are impressive, but the side effects. There’s no telling how it might impact the ship, let alone what could happen to Skyblade since he still has it in his veins.”

“Dark energon courses through mine as well.” Megatron replied before turning toward Knockout and Skyblade. “Infusing the warship with it will enable he and I to manipulate the craft as if we are one. And together, we shall crush Optimus Prime.” he stated.

“Or it’ll become sentient and turn on us. Why do you think I’m no longer groveling at Robotnik’s feet? Sentience is always a good thing, or a bad thing. Neither is predictable when it comes to bringing life to something that isn’t meant to be brought to life.” Skyblade hissed, his tail flicking in worry and frustration.

“You keep forgetting that I am the main wielder of the dark energon, Skyblade. The effects on you will only be minimal if even Unicron himself could not possess you on the day he tried to rise.” Megatron replied, then turned toward the control panel of the supply core, having one of the mechanic claws pick up a cube of dark energon, and set it at the core, the silver and purple mech then pulling the switch up, the mechanical claw pushing the cube in, the visible veins of the Nemesis turning from blue to purple as a high-pitched buzzing sound was heard.

Skyblade tensed, wings flaring and his Ice Breath hovered at the back of his intake, ready to attack if the Nemesis starts being aggressive, the blue and silver Predacon getting chills crawling up his backstrut, hoping that Megatron’s plan will actually work.

“Yes. I can feel it!” Megatron chuckled.

Skyblade glanced around, noticing that nothing was happening, only to jolt as the Nemesis began rumbling and angled upwards for a bit before leveling itself out, the blue and silver Predacon heading out onto the flight deck, gaping as he could see that the aircraft was once again already air born, glancing over to see the Autobots, Fowler, Sonic, and, surprisingly, Shadow all on the ground below watching as the Nemesis moved, Skyblade confused on why Shadow was there, but then figured he must have been nearby when he saw the Nemesis start flying, glaring down at the bystanders before heading inside to warn Megatron of their arrival, only to see Soundwave already showing them on his visor to the warlord leader.
