Transformers Prime: Predacon Evolution

Skyblade followed behind Megatron until they reached the location that Soundwave tracked Airachnid at, the blue and silver Predacon then landing on the outskirts of the area, watching as Megatron flew by, the silver and purple mech seemingly still unaware of his presence, otherwise he would have said something.

After waiting a moment, Skyblade then continued toward the area by walking, wanting to save the strength in his wings for a fight that would require him to fly, which is what happened a lot, whether he were a robotic hedgehog or a Predacon.

Skyblade kept walking until he arrived at a circular canyon, the blue and silver Predacon crouching low and peeking down to see that Megatron was already engaged in a fight against an Insecticon, Airachnid watching the battle from atop a low ledge.

Upon hearing Megatron groan and the sound of metal being struck, Skyblade snapped his gaze back toward his leader, spotting a bit of webbing covering his fusion cannon, the Instecticon roaring as it charged at Megatron again, only for the silver and purple mech to grab onto the two extra arms of the Instecticon in his servos, and ripping said limbs off, the Insecticon screeching in pain and horror, Megatron then kicking the larger being back before unsheathing his blade, running at the weakened Insecticon, and swinging the blade, slicing the Insecticon’s head off in a swift motion, afterwards the Autobots and Sonic showing up on time to see what happened, the cobalt hedgehog’s eyes widening in shock.

Megatron vented heavily a bit before glaring up at the sky. “Let this be a warning to those who cross a Gladiator of Kaon! Be it Decepticons…” he paused upon noticing the Autobots and Sonic, who then jumped down around him, Airachnid only then fleeing the scene. “or Autobots.” He growled, and turned toward Optimus, taking a step towards him, only to then collapse.

Skyblade tensed, silently begging Megatron to get back up as the silver and purple mech propped himself up a bit, Optimus staring down at him for a moment before turning his servo into a blaster and pointing it at the warlord leader’s helm, even Sonic tensing due to him having morals of not too keen on taking a life, the sight having the blue and silver Predacon get vivid flashbacks of the last time Optimus wanted to extinguish Megatron’s spark, and doing so while he was exhausted from his fight against the Insecticon seemed like the perfect opportunity for the Autobot leader.

That was enough to make Skyblade snap.

He stood tall and gave a loud, furious roar that echoed off the canyon walls, the Autobots, Sonic, and Megatron all glancing up at Skyblade as he jumped down, landing right between Megatron and Optimus, the blue and silver Predacon standing as closely to his leader as he could, growling at Optimus lowly while his optics glowed purple intensely, ignoring the other Autobots aiming their blasters at him.

“Make one more move, and I’ll melt you down.” Skyblade growled, slight smoke rising from within his intake, his dark energon powers demanding to be unleashed.

“Try to hurt our leader, and you’ll be shot until you’re unrecognizable.” Arcee threatened lowly.

Skyblade ignored her and kept his purple optics locked onto Optimus, occasionally glancing at the other Autobots and Sonic, fully alert and ready if one of them tried to start a fight.

“You disobeyed a direct order, Skyblade.” Megatron said, sounding frustrated, but a hint of gratitude in his tone.

“It’s a good thing I did.” Skyblade replied, which earned a laugh from Bulkhead.

“What, you two are all buddy-buddy?” Bulkhead jeered, Wheeljack chuckling a bit, having Skyblade give them both a harsh glare.

Red lasers then suddenly rained down at the Autobots and Sonic, Skyblade glancing up to see a group of Seekers and Dreadwing rushing down in their jet modes, then transforming into their Cybertronian selves in mid-air, partially forming a protective circle around the blue and silver Predacon and Megatron.
