7:30 pm:
Anamika strode into the Phoenix Company with determined steps. Orson was already waiting for her in the lobby, but she didn’t even glance at him. Ignoring his attempts to stop her, she marched directly towards the elevator. Orson’s eyes widened as he realized her intentions, and he hurried to catch up, but before he could enter the elevator, the doors closed on his face.
Cursing under his breath, Orson rushed to take another elevator, his heart pounding. His boss would kill him if things went wrong.
Meanwhile, the elevator Anamika was in stopped at the 49th floor. She stepped out with purposeful strides. The receptionist on the floor quickly stood up to address her.
"Ma’am, sir is a little busy. Can you—"
Before the receptionist could finish her sentence, Anamika slammed the cabin door open with such force that the sound echoed through the floor.
Inside the cabin, Darius was in the middle of a meeting with his finance team. The sudden intrusion caught everyone’s attention, and their heads turned towards the door. Darius, who was ready to yell whoever dared to interrupt, froze when he saw her.
A smirk played on his lips as he leaned back in his chair.
"Leave!" Anamika commanded, her voice cold and authoritative as her piercing gaze locked on Darius.
The finance team exchanged nervous glances, unsure of what to do.
Their boss wasn’t saying a word, just watching the woman with an amused smirk.
Anamika stormed further into the room, grabbed Darius’s laptop, and slammed it down on wall with a loud thud.
"I said, leave!" she yelled, her fiery tone leaving no room for argument.
The team members gulped, their eyes widening at her audacity .
They never saw anyone , ANY FUCKING ONE behaving like this infront of him . And what amuses them is their boss no reaction to her .
