In one of the houses, a little far from the disaster occurring, a young boy stood at his window, Edmund Pevensie he watched the bombs blow up the houses, the families screaming in panic with fear in his eyes. A woman, his mother rushed in pulling him away from the window.
"Edmund! Get away from there!" She screamed as she closed the curtains. Another boy rushed in s he heard his mother scream.
"Peter!" Mrs. Pevensie called. "What do you think you're doing?" Mrs. Pevensie questions, shaking Edmund worriedly while also scanning his body for any signs of injury. "Peter, quickly, the shelter, now!"
The older boy nodded at his mother's command and grabbed his brother pulling him away.
"Come on!" Peter ushers.
"Wait..." The younger boy frowns.

The family all rushed out of the house, running up a couple of stairs. Suddenly Edmund stopped and began running back to the house unaware of the danger inside.
"Wait, dad!" He yells, Peter rushed after them after reassuring his mother.
Edmund rushed up the stairs, Peter following, he quickly grabbed the picture of his father wearing the soldier's uniform but a bomb dropped close to their house, the force shattering the glass.
"Come on you idiot, run!" Peter yelled at his little brother, him following.
The two rushed into the shelter, their mother waiting worriedly. Peter pushed Edmund inside harshly.
"Why can't you think of anyone but yourself, you're so selfish!" Peter yelled.
Y/n winced a bit at the tone of his voice and glanced down at Lucy in her arms who was trying not to cry.
"Stop it!" Mrs. Pevensie scolds and glanced down at her youngest son, reassuring him.
Y/n hugged Lucy tighter as she continued to cry.
"Why can't you just do as you're told?" Peter sighed.
~the next morning~
The 5 children were all standing in front of a busy and bustling train station. Lucy stood in front of Mrs. Pevensie who was pinning something to her clothes as she held her stuffed toy.
"You need to keep this on, darling. All right?" Mrs. Pevensie asks softly.
She moved on to Edmund who frowned a bit. "If dad was here, he wouldn't make us go."
