The children and Beaver's reached the edge of the cliff staring down at the melting frozen mess before them.
"We need to cross, now." Peter ordered.
"Don't Beaver's make dams?" Lucy asked.
"I'm not that fast dear." Beaver said.
"Come on!" Peter urged as he grabbed Lucy and Y/n's hands.
"Wait! Will you think about this for a minute?" Susan asked.
"We don't have minute." Peter said.
"I'm just trying to be realistic." Susan frowned.
"No, you're trying to be smart. As usual." Peter said annoyed.
Susan glared at him but turned around when she heard the sound of wolves howling.
They finally reached the bottom where the river started. Peter stepped forward, but the ice moved beneath him making him step back.
"Wait. Maybe I should go first." Beaver suggests holding up his paw.
"Maybe you should." Peter said looking down.
Beaver moved around carefully, thumping his tail and paws around the ice.
"You've been sneaking second helpings, haven't you?" Mrs. Beaver asked.
"Well, you never know which meal is going to be your last." Beaver said. "Especially with your cooking."
Peter gulped a bit, then grabbed Y/n's hand the five following Beaver's footsteps.
"Oh, no!" Lucy exclaims as she noticed the wolves circling the edge of the cliff.
"Run!" Peter orders.
But it was too late, Maugrim and the rest of the wolves blocked their path, snarling at them.
Beaver snarled at the wolves, but the wolf bit him.
"No! Peter!" Mrs. Beaver said worriedly.
Peter not knowing what to do pulled out his sword.
"Put that down, boy. Someone could get hurt." Maugrim said as he stalked closer to them.
"Don't worry about me, run that through him!" Beaver said.
"Leave now while you can, and your brother leaved with you." Maugrim suggests.
"Stop, Peter! Maybe we should listen to him!" Susan said.
"Smart girl." Maugrim growled.
"Don't listen to him, kill him, now!" Beaver exclaims.
"Oh, come on, this isn't your war, all my Queen wants is for you to take your family and go." Maugrim said.
"Look, just because some man in a red coat hands you a sword doesn't make you a hero! Just drop it!" Susan shouts.
"No, Peter! Narnia need you!" Beaver shouts. "Gut him while you still have the chance."
"What's it going to be, Son of Adam? I can't wait around forever." Maugrim snarled. "And neither will the river."
"Peter!" Lucy shouts when she noticed the waterfall breaking.
Y/n grabbed Peter's sword and stabbed it through the ice and everyone was washed away.
Susan, Peter and Lucy and Mrs. Beaver surfaced from the water shivering as they held onto an ice block.
"Wait. Where's Y/n?" Lucy asked.
Susan turned around. "What have you done?" She asked.
Peter looked at her in panic.
