Before (m/n) could even register someone walking behind him, he felt a sudden push. With a sharp intake of breath, (m/n) fell, shutting his eyes as he waited for the inevitable impact of the ground.
"Shit- sorry about that uh..." A voice said from behind him. That's when (m/n) noticed the feeling of hands on his hips, ensuring he wasn't going to fall down. (m/n) quickly stood up and turned around, his eyes meeting a set of smokey blue ones. The emo looking guy wiped his hands off on his black hoodie, a small stain coming off of his hands and onto his sweatshirt. The man looked to be about 5'11 and was very lanky, the faint smell of weed and cigarettes radiating off of him.
(m/n) was about to introduce himself but Robin ultimately beat him to the start. She stepped behind (m/n) and placed her hands on (m/n)'s shoulders, pushing him forward a little bit but not enough to knock him over.
"Sebby! This is the new farmer I was telling you about! His name's (m/n), isn't he a cutie??" Robin happily said with a smile. Oh no. (m/n) heard that tone before with his own family. Robin was trying to set him up with this guy... Sebby..? It seemed like Robin noticed as well as a faint red tint grew on his face, crossing his arms and looking away.
"(m/n) huh... Out of all the places you could choose to live, you picked Pelican town?" 'Sebby' asked, a slight scoff in his voice. "Whatever... My name's Sebastian."
"Ah well- n-nice to uh... meet you Sebastian, I'm (m/n)" (m/n) said with an awkward smile. (m/n) automatically started to pinpoint some stuff about Sebastian out, a habit he grew to perfect.
He looks lifeless.... Maybe stricken with the need to prove his worth? Eyebags are apparent, seemed like he doesn't get much sleep. Or go out, his skin as almost as pale as a sheet of paper- Sebastian awkwardly shifted under (m/n)'s observing gaze, knocking (m/n) out of his trance and making him realize that he probably looked like a weirdo..
A pink tint rose to (m/n)'s cheeks from embarrassment and he quickly stammered out an apology and explanation. "A-ah! Sorry about that.. Didn't mean to uh, stare at you it just kinda happens sometimes.." He awkwardly got out, the interaction making a permanent home in his brain. Oh how fun getting to sleep tonight will be...
" 's fine..." Sebastian mumbled out, shoving his hands into his hoodie pocket as he awkwardly stood there. His eyes seemed to drift along your outfit, focusing on a certain spot. "... Sorry for the oil on your shirt.."
Keith's eyes shot down when Sebastian said that, pulling on his shirt to straighten it out only to see two hand prints on his hips, most definitely from Sebastian catching him.
Damn... How do I get this out..? Keith thought as he anxiously stared at the stains. He didn't have enough money to afford new clothes before and he certainly didn't right now.
"Ah, it's fine... I'll uh, I'm sure it'll come out easily.." (m/n) mumbled, finally looking back up at Sebastian with a small smile. Friendly... Be friendly.. It'll make up for mistakes down the line.. (m/n) took a deep breath, trying to calm down his jitteriness.
"..Aloe Vera..." Sebastian grumbled, looking away from (m/n).
"H-Huh?" (m/n) said, confused about what Aloe Vera had to do with anything. "A-Aloe Vera..?"
Sebastian sighed and motioned to the stain with his elbow, still not looking directly at (m/n). "For the stains, Aloe is good for getting rid of motor oil stains.. You should do it soon, after oil sits for a while, the stain turns into a pain in the ass to get out. Even more than it already will be."
"Oh is that so? Then, Sebby, how about you help (m/n) get the stains out? Don't want it ruining his clothes and plus, I still have to make dinner!" Robin said with a smirk. That tone again, (m/n) was starting to think staying in that rotting cabin wasn't so bad after all.
"Oh its alright Robin! I-I'm sure Sebastian is busy, I can just clean it later-" (m/n) tried to say but Robin interrupted him with a pat on the back that knocked the air out of (m/n) lungs, making (m/n) think a couple ribs of his broke.
"No no, I'm sure Sebby would be okay helping you out, (m/n)! Now, you two run along, I gotta get a start on dinner." Robin smiled and quickly made her way around the two, not letting either of them protest anymore.
