"You want to talk about it?" She asked, though she knew he wouldn't.
"No, not really" he took the magic eraser from her, "you aren't cleaning the wall, Anthony will"
As they stepped out of the the plane and on to the Tarmac, they spotted someone holding a sign with their name on it, "who is that?" She asked him.
"I've arranged for Alan to pick us up, you must remember him." He told her, "he's from the club, he was my caddy for years"
She laughed, "well that's just great, the entire club will now know we are broke" just saying the words made her skin crawl, she would never get used to this.
"You need to stop looking down your nose at people, and get used to being one of the little people" he told her, his wife was controlled by the all mighty dollar and he knew she wasn't adjusting well to their new financial status.
She huffed at him, "I wouldn't have to if you and those sons of ours didn't destroy our company" her voice cold, "if you knew what you were doing maybe Daniel would still be here" her eldest son had always been her favorite, and he was gone.
Sean Roman sat at the desk, he hadn't gone home once they finished at the scene. He was beside himself, it was the worst case he has seen since joining the unit. He threw up once he saw the first body, and it only got worse as the night went on.
"You okay?" Jay asked when he found him at the desk, "you can't hold on to it for too long, it will eat you alive if you do" he sat down, "seriously Sean"
Sean nodded, "yeah, I know. It just knocked me on my ass" he rubbed his temple, his head throbbed, "you have any aspirin?"
"Some in the break room, the cabinet next to the fridge" Jay told him.
"Thanks" he tried to avoid the whiteboard on his way to the break room, the pictures of the bodies they found plastered to it, he knew they need to catch this monster and soon before he found another victim.
She waited for the cab to arrive, everything she owned in a small black duffel bag she kept moving it from one hand to the other. She was shocked when she found out she was being released from the hospital and being sent to a halfway house, she didn't understand it but it was better than being in that hospital with the crazies.
She had only had one visitor the entire time and it wasn't because he wanted to see her, Adam just wanted the truth. The truth had always been difficult for her to tell, every since her childhood, nine times out of ten when she opened her mouth it was a lie. She gave him the truth that day, she owed him that much.
"I'm sorry I writed on the wall mommy" Anthony said his eyes cast downward at his feet, "and I won't color on Harper" he handed her the eraser.
"Thank you for cleaning it up, bud" she took the eraser, "come eat some breakfast"
Adam emerged from their bedroom, "I have to go back, I don't know how long I will be gone" he told her as he embraced her, after seeing what he saw last night he didn't want to let her go, "god I love you" he told her.
"I love you too" she looked up at him, "hey, whatever it is you can tell me" she told him.
"I know, I don't want to though" he tried to erase it from his mind, the last thing he wanted to do was invite it into his home, "depending on what time we finish I may grab a few drink with Al tonight, but I'll let you know for sure" he missed Al and he knew he could talk about it with him.
"Okay, call me" she kissed him, "just be careful, okay"
"I will" he kissed Anthony and Harper and headed out.
Phil sat in the office at his new company, he was shocked he was hired they explained that everyone deserved a second chance and hoped it would benefit both the company and Phil.
He was still fighting to be able to see his own children Jonathan was eight now and little Madilyn was six, his ex-wife was keeping them tied up in a custody fight and he had to wait for the case to be settled before he could see the kids.
Erin dropped Tyler off with the nanny, "he last ate about seven so he should be good for awhile" she said as she handed over the diaper bag, "he's three months today" she smiled, he was the spitting image of Jay. She remembered how happy Jay was they found out she was pregnant and then again when they learned it was a boy. They named him after Jack Tyler, they worried about Adam and Kim's reaction to their son's name but they pulled said they understood that Jack played a big role in Jay's life. He had made a mistake one he regretted deeply.
Voight stood beside the white board, "this case needs to be solved yesterday" he told them, they had found three bodies last night and over the course of the last two months they had found seven total, every single one was a white female ranging in age from 17-22. "We have dick to go on, the only connection is they all went to the same college"
Adam felt his skin crawl as he read the name of the college they all attended, "boss, my sister takes classes there" he felt uneasy, "what are we thinking, a professor? Another student?"
Hank shrugged, "your guess is as good as mine, we need to head down there and start kicking tires, someone has to know something"

I've come up with something, and it's gonna be fun!
