To Ohm with Force

I was well aware I was in Ohm's hold, but for some reason, I just couldn't pull away, and that was not even me. I never ever allowed anyone to see my vulnerable self, minus Book occasionally, but otherwise, I always kept closed off.

I felt that I always had to be the stronger one for people around me, and so, I always refused to express my feelings, especially when I was vulnerable. But now, I caught myself in a position where I just offloaded everything to Ohm and was just in his arms, too. The irony of the whole situation struck me hard, but I realized I couldn't seem to pull myself away.

Maybe I just needed someone to comfort me, too. For once. I couldn't go to Book on this as it would make it even harder and awkward for him, too.

Ohm just held onto me quietly, not saying a word. A couple of minutes later, I finally pulled away. Ohm looked at me, asking if I was ok. I nodded.

He didn't say anything and just held onto my hand.

"I am here for you. You can always confide in me. We are also friends. Right?"

I looked at Ohm and nodded. He smiled. He told me to get some rest and that he would get going. I asked him to sleep over as it was almost 2 am. But Ohm declined, saying he had filming the following morning so he would make a move. I nodded, thanking him for coming over. Ohm just grinned at me, whispering, "Anything for my fake boyfriend." before running away! I groaned inwardly as he left. But just before he walked off, he turned to me.

"I meant it when I said anything for my fake boyfriend. Never ever feel you are alone. Do you understand?"

I nodded, watching him walk away. Ugh even though I felt so shy from his words, I couldn't help that it soothed my aching heart so much. Maybe this was what I needed. A fake boyfriend.

I woke up around 8am, feeling a headache but I chose to soldier through it. I got a cold shower to clear my head and perhaps loosen that throbbing pain. I got dressed and left the house. I had some filming today for a few commercials so went for that.

Work overran a bit, so I ended only around 5pm. Once I was done, I checked my phone to realize that Book had texted me asking if I wanted to grab dinner together. I agreed and went off to meet him to pick him up. He smiled when he saw me, ruffling my hair softly as he always did.

"Shall we?" He asked.

I nodded and we went to our favorite place for an early dinner. We were eating when I saw Ohm with a few of his other friends. His workday must have ended early. He was cheerily chatting away with them as he walked in, not realizing my presence. I just observed quietly as he grinned, finding them a booth seat to settle into. They were chatting away nonstop.

"Where does he get all that energy from?" I muttered quietly to myself. But Book had heard me and looked at me in surprise wondering whom I was referring to.

"That silly one over there. The one that can give me a run for my money."

Book turned over to glance and realize I was referring to Ohm. He chuckled as he turned back to me.

"He's a good kid so don't tease him like that."

"I know but he's so easy to tease. He's so easy-going and doesn't let anything get to him."

"Yes. You are right. I hardly see him get angry or sad. So, seeing him fall out with Nanon was painful. Not only for him but everyone too."

I nodded.

"I hope they will make up soon one day."

"I'm not sure. I heard that they fell out because Ohm fell for him and Nanon didn't feel the same way. He had told Ohm off strongly for cheapening their friendship. That really broke Ohm."
