To Ohm with Force

I just leaned on Force's chest and nodded, finding myself unable to speak. I was extremely flustered and shy, having confessed my feelings to him and found myself unable to respond when he confessed his own to me.

Force just held onto me and rested his head on mine, just wrapping his arms around me. We held on for a bit before pulling away. He looked at me and cupped my face in his hands.

"This means we date, right? For real, this time?"

I nodded, a streak of blush just flitting through me. Force smiled at me, his first full-blown gummy like smile that just won my heart over completely. I ended up breaking into one of my own, too. He hugged me again before letting go.

I looked at him and then recalled Book! "Shit. I should probably apologise to Book for just going off like that earlier. Ugh."

"Yeaps, you should definitely apologise to him for being so petty and jealous, huh?"

I smacked Force hard on his chest! "Stop teasing me! You shouldn't have been so handsy with him, too. That irked me."

"I like this colour on you. Continue always being this petty and jealous. It makes me feel very happy knowing my boyfriend has his eye on me all the time."

I just rolled my eyes at him. Force just laughed as he swung his hand around me and pulled me in to him.

"Do you..want to stay over tonight? It's late.."

Force looked at the clock and chuckled. "It's only like 9pm, Ohm."

Ugh, he was either playing hard to get or just being dumb. I was about to nag at him when I caught him smirking. Ah, so he was playing hard to get! Force laughed as he dragged me to the couch.

"I will stay over tonight, and every other night if you allow me to. Happy to stay over permanently in your house and heart."

"God, are you always this cheesy? Help me!"

"I think so. I wouldn't know. You.. you are my first proper partner."

I stared at him gobsmacked. "You have never gotten together with someone?"

Force shook his head, citing he either didn't like them enough to confess and be with them or with Book, he got rejected from the go. I looked at him, my heart warming that I was his first.

Force was about to say something to me when his phone. It was Book! He switched his call to a video call and answered it. Before he could say anything, Book rattled off.

"You better have made peace with Ohm, confessed and made him your boyfriend or I will come over and kill you Force!" He ranted. Force laughed as he moved the phone towards me, letting Book see that I was in his arms.

"Thank you Book for looking out for me. We..we are good.. together I mean."

Book grinned nonstop when he saw that! He smiled and nodded approvingly, and told us to take care before hanging up.

"He is really such a nice guy."

"He is. I wouldn't disagree. But you are the best of them all."

"Really?"

"Uhuh."

"Is that really you or the love speaking?"

Force chuckled as he clipped me on my head. I laughed and just laid my head on his shoulder.

"Thank you Force, for showing me it's ok to love a friend. Showing me that feelings are ok to be nurtured and the right one will always understand how you are and accept it. And not misunderstand it."

Force just held onto me as I spoke. He knew subconsciously I was thinking about Nanon as I said that. He kissed the top of my head and I looked up at him.

"You showed me first it's absolutely OK to love a friend and was there for me all the way. You accepted me the way I came. Its only right I do that too."

I smiled, my eyes crinkling. Force then gestured towards my shelf where it was full of pictures.

"Got room for 1 more?"

I laughed as I nodded and Force laughed too, kissing me softly on my head again.
