Wonwoo's point of view

"You, Wonwoo. She wants you."

Wonwoo looked at his best friend in desbelief.
"What?"
Mingyu leaned back, smiling. "Oh c'mon man, don't act like you didn't know."
"What do you mean don't act? Mingyu, I didn't know. She kicked me out of her dorm after we kissed."
"Well you- wait, what?" Mingyu looked at Wonwoo, shocked. "You kissed her? Like on the mouth?"

Wonwoo sighed. He didn't told anyone.
"Yeah, we kissed."
"That's why you left at her party?"
Wonwoo nodded.
"Oh man, this is even better now!"

Wonwoo raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"
"You kissed. She broke up with Vernon. You can literally get her now."
"It's not that easy."
"And why not?"

"She clearly told me that she doesn't want this to happen. She doesn't even see us as friends anymore, Mingyu."
Mingyu shook his head. "That's not true. You two have always been best friends."
"Well, I guess not anymore."

"So you just gonna let that happen and do nothing?" Mingyu asked.
"She doesn't want this."
"Dude, she literally told Joshua that she has feelings for someone else. Who could that be if not you?"
Wonwoo shrugged his shoulders. "A lot of things could happen in four months."
"Bullshit, you know that."

Does he?
Does he know that y/n had feelings for him? Still has?
He wanted to believe that they had a chance together but what if it doesn't work out?
And also - your relationship is already ruined.
It's not like they would even meet without trouble anymore.

Y/n's point of view

"You don't look good my love." Your mom says as you walked through your houses front door.
"Thanks mom, that's what I wanted to hear." You said.
You put your bag down and hugged your mom. You came home to Seoul during spring break.
And your mom was right - you look horrible.

Deep dark circles underneath your eyes and your body was looking like you haven't eaten in months.
And it was only a week after you broke up with Vernon.
But you couldn't sleep ever since - or eat.
And it wasn't even Vernon you thought about all the time.

"We are getting you something good for Dinner tonight. What about we go meet the Jeon family?"
Your heart stopped beating for a second.
The last thing you nedded now was to see him.
"You know what mom, it's already late and I don't feel like going somewhere. Can we just stay in?"

After a week of staying at home, your parents decided to go to Jeju Island.
You tried to stop them from bringing you with them, but they insisted for you to come along.
The last time you were there was with Wonwoo almost a year ago and you promised to never let anything or anyone change your relationship.
Jokes on you.

"What about we go on a hike together and then we can meet up with the Jeon's?" Your mom requested.
You looked up at her. "Are they here?"
"Yeah, didn't we tell you?" Your dad asked.
You looked at him. "What? No. I didn't know. Why are they here?"
"They always come here with us, y/n. Don't act like it surprises you."

You weren't surprised.
You were shocked.
You didn't want to see him.
It would make things even worse.

"I think I'll walk around a bit then. Maybe we could meet later?" You suggested.
"You sure? You weren't... yourself the last weeks." Your mom said.
You nodded, slightly smiling at her. "I'm fine. Send me the address later and I'll be there."

You went outside and looked around, making sure no one was here to see you. You went down the street and made your way through the village.
Wonwoo wouldn't be out here. He hates walking, especially through this village since he knows it so well.

"Y/n my love!" An old lady, her name was Lala, or at least that's what everyone called her, called out when you crossed the street towards her house.
You smiled at her. "Hey Lala."
"What a coincidence we meet, I just talked about you."

"Oh yeah?"
"Yeah. Wonwoo came here to bring me some cookies. You know, the ones you can only get in that one store in Seoul."
You swallowed hard. He was near. He was walking around here.
"Oh, yeah, what a coincidence." You said.
You wanted to leave. Now.

"How come you're not walking around together? You two are never separated from another." Lala asked.
"Oh we... we didn't met yet. Not here. We came separated."
"Aah, I see. He went down that hill, couldn't be that far away by now. You can hurry and catch up with him."
You smiled slightly. "Thank you, have a nice day."

You went down the hill, as Wonwoo. You didn't want to but going somewhere else now makes Lala questioning why and you didn't want anyone to know anything.
You bumped into someone, as you took a turn. The person put his arms around you to hold you up.
Your heart dropped as when realised who it was.

"Wonwoo." You whispered.
"Hey, y/n."
Your faces were just a few inches away from each other. You could feel his breath on your skin.
"You okay?" He asked.
You nodded slightly, not being able to say something. Wonwoo slowly released his arms from you and stepped a few steps back.

You noticed that he was in the same bad state as you. Deep, dark circles under his eyes, his skin pale and his shoulders were hanging.
That person wasn't your best friend.
He was just a lost soul in his body.

"How are you?" You asked.
He nodded slightly. "Okay. You?"
"Yeah... same."
Wonwoo sighed. "Y/n."
"What?" You asked. "It's true."

"I heard about Vernon. You broke up with him."
You swallowed. You didn't tell him. It was probably Joshua or one of the other boys.
"That's not relevant."
"It is. Was it because of me? Because of the kiss?"
You looked down. You didn't want to have to this conversation right now.

"C'mon." Wonwoo said, stepping forward and grabbing your arm.
You looked up at him. "What are you doing?"
"We're going to talk this out." He said, pulling you with him.
