I was lying next to Meteor on my bed, petting his second pair of wings.
"Your wings are soft..." I whispered.
"Thanks...?" I don't know what you say to that!" Meteor chuckled.
"I don't know either... I just felt I had to say it..." I held his hand, noticing his arms were bandaged up again. "What happened to your arms?" I asked, pointing to his bandages.
"I, uh..." Meteor stumbled over his words. "I just... Tripped and fell on them! Yeah..." He looked at me with an emotion in his eyes I couldn't pinpoint.
"That's the second time this week you've said that..." I questioned.
"I guess I just trip a lot!" He pet my head, and I sighed, knowing he wasn't going to answer me, so I just leaned into his touch.

I woke up a few hours later, cuddled up next to Meteor as he hugged me. I sat up, holding my head, having a splitting headache.
"Ow... Moon...?" I asked Moon to see if he accidentally caused it.
"Yeah...?" He responded in a tired and hurt voice.
"Did you give me a headache...?" I rubbed my head.
"No... Somehow, I have a headache too... A really bad one..." Moon said, appearing next to me.
"Weird..." I slowly forced myself to stand up, almost falling as I did. "Damn it..." I walked over the tunnel that connected my room to the main area of the balcony and crawled through it.
"I've never had a headache this bad since I first woke up for the first time..." Moon sighed.
"Wow... That's a long time..." I stood up, brushing my pants. I climbed up the ladder and walking onto the balcony, looking over the daycare.
