Die with a Smile (Movie Shadow x Reader)

(WARNING!!! ⚠️ This chapter had me in tears 😭 and so will the next one..)

Shadow placed his hand on the glass staring down at the earth "It's almost finished, Maria." He glared fiercely "You will have justice." He then heard a muffled boom sound as he looked in the distance to see something bright heading towards them. Gerald stood beside him gazing curiously at it "What is that?"

Shadow furrowed his brows "Is GUN launching missiles at us?" He averted his eyes up at him as Gerald expression changed to that of confusion "Impossible. It's moving too fast." Before any of them could do anything as Y/n was still in the center powering up the bots, it went through the glass taking Shadow out into space as it revealed to be Sonic in his super form.

Sonic gripped his chest tightly as he had his flaming fist ready, giving Shadow an angered expression "You hurt my family. This ends now!" Shadow gave him that same expression ,gritting his teeth as he balled his fist "Now you know both our anger. The pain me and Y/n felt for 50 YEARS. And you made the same choice we did."

"I'm nothing like you!" Sonic retorted back feeling his anger rise. "We'll see.." Shadow muttered as he switched them, dragging him down into the earth. They landed with a loud explosion as dust covered them followed by lava spilling out of the ground. Sonic stood up searching for him "Show yourself, coward!"

Shadow teleported behind him causing Sonic to gasp as he tried to turn around but he wasn't quick enough as Shadow took a direct hit on him which caused a green light to appear as it made Sonic revert back to his original form. Once Sonic recovered he gasped, seeing the emeralds exposed as the two hedgehogs make a run to grab them.

Another explosion filled with a bright beam of light and electricity showed as Sonic was back in his super form smiling triumphantly as he turned to see Shadow had the powers too. His mouth stood agape seeing him look different as Shadow gave him a small smirk. Sonic dashed towards at lightning speed with his fist out only for Shadow to stop him completely.

Sonic grunted feeling himself straining to keep his hold while Shadow casually move his fist away from his face as he spoke "You were right about one thing." He made his hand into a fist as he looked at him determinedly "This ends NOW." He punched Sonic to the ground giving another with his backhand followed by a punch to the air.

He quickly grabbed his his ankle slamming him down with sheer force and spun him around throwing him at a long distance. Sonic collided with the rocky mountains and attempted to get out but was stopped by him as Shadow gripped his neck pushing him back into place as he got ready to punch him again.

Sonic stopped his fist just in time as he pushed forward as they both flew while dragging him on the ground. Lava spewed everywhere as the fight grew more intense causing the earth beneath them to crack and split open. Sonic pushed him off as Shadow rushed in only for Sonic to punch him not once, but three times across the country. Their fight could be seen from in space as two fast lights went back and forth across the globe at an extraordinary speed.

I wasn't able to do anything yet as I was nearly done powering up the professor's robots. As much as I wanted to help him I had to help the professor first. I knew Shadow can handle fighting that blue menace, but I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking at here..

I sneaked a peek at the two robotniks....fighting? I think?

I sighed annoyingly as I closed my eyes again "Yet another thing to deal with..."
