To Be Or Not To Be Ft. Deacon Kay & SWAT

POV Deacon:

The next morning I wake up to Lily still sleeping. I turn on my side to look at her perfect face. The sun shines delicately on her face and her lips are a little pouted. I step out of bed and decide I'm going to wake her up with a cup of coffee. I walk downstairs to the coffee machine and start making our coffees. While I'm busy making her the perfect latte, my mind starts racing.

We really need to talk today. We need to figure out what happened and what it's going to change. Or maybe we don't and just go with the flow. You're also twice her age Deac. Does she not mind? She also just broke up with her boyfriend. Am I a rebound? I try to get rid of the thoughts while I walk upstairs. As soon as I see her face every thought just disappears. God, she's perfect. I walk over to the bed and put our coffees on her side of the nightstand. I climb on top of her, softly, to wake her up. 

"Hi honey." I say as I wipe her hair out her face and tuck it behind her ears. "Mmm.Hey." She moans. "What time is it?" "7:20. I got you coffee." We've got about an hour and a half for work. She opens her eyes and looks at me surprised. "You got me coffee?" I smile and point my head towards the coffee. "So this is what it looks like waking up with David Kay." She sits up and grabs her coffee to take a sip off it. "If you're lucky." I tease her. She also hands me mine and we just sit together on the bed, enjoying our coffees for a while. "So do you want to have breakfast?" I nod my head. "Yea I could use some. You wanna grab something on the way over to work?" "That is an excellent idea." She says laughing. "I'm going to freshen up really quick okay?" I say to her, while giving her a kiss on her forehead. 

POV Lily:

So far, this morning has been perfect. I was really scared this would just be a one time thing. Maybe it isn't. When Deacon walks off to the bathroom, I also get out of bed. I see his sweater lying on the ground in the corner of the room so I take it, smell it and put it on. His sweater is twice the size I usually wear, so it just covers my butt. I walk downstairs with just the sweater on and stand in front of the window. The sun is shining in my face and I love the heat it's giving me. All of a sudden I feel two warm arms wrapping themselves around my waist. He lays his head on top of mine. "You know, it should be illegal, looking this good in my sweater." I turn around and look him in the eyes. "Is that so?" I say with a smirk on my face. I walk past him and knowing, or hoping, that he's looking I lift up my arms to put my hair in a bun. But because I lift my arms up, the sweater moves to above my butt, so my string is out in the open. I hear Deacon take a deep breath, so I guess he saw. I want to grab a glass out of the cupboard, when my arm gets pulled back. 

"You know just what you did there Lily." "Did what?" I ask him innocently. He lifts me up onto the counter and stands in between my legs. The sweet look in his face is gone and is replaced by lust. "Stop teasing me." He says to me looking at my eyes, staring straight into my soul. I kiss him and unbuckle his pants. He takes of his pants and takes my underwear off. He gets down on on his knees and spreads my legs. I gasp for what he's about to do and make myself ready. As soon as he plants his face I go insane. "Fuck." I moan. He grabs my thighs and puts me even further in  his mouth. I grab his hair and start pulling it while I begin to feel the rush. "I'm coming.." I moan while leaning my head backwards. He stands up again and starts to kiss me heavily. "I want you to fuck me, sergeant." I tell him. He lets out a smirk and immediately starts taking off his underwear. "You like it when I call you that, Sergeant?" "Ohh you have no idea." He lays his head on my shoulder while he thrusts into me. 

When he's done, we both get dressed to get to work. "Oh, I forgot to tell you that I will be heading off to Ruby's tonight. So I won't be a burden anymore from now on." I know that for the last few days I have been welcome, but maybe now it's time to leave him in his own personal space again. Maybe now that we're kinda... doing each other I get to spend more time there, but I don't want to completely invade his privacy. "Oh..." He tells me and just looks me in the eyes. "It's just that I don't want to be a burden to you and your own space. I'm really grateful to have spent the last few nights with you, don't get me wrong. I just-" I tell him quickly, but I get interrupted mid sentence "No, I know." He says and walks off. That was weird. I try to shake it off and go on with getting ready. 

The whole way over to the headquarters, Deacon didn't say a word to me. It seemed like something was bothering him. "Are you okay? Is something wrong?" I ask him carefully. He thinks about his answer and then tells me no. He gets out of the car and immediately heads to HQ. He's not even waiting for me. "Hey Lily." I hear from behind me. "Hey Street, how are you?" "Fine, fine. Been spending a lot of time with your friend, Ruby lately." "Yeah... I know." I tell him awkwardly, because he's the reason I've been staying with Deacon. "Is it weird for you? That I'm seeing your friend?" "What? No, I kinda like it. You seem to make her happy and that's what matters to me. I haven't seen her smile this much since forever. Just... Don't break her heart, or do something to hurt her. Then, we won't have a problem." I tell him laughing, but also kind of warning him. He laughs at me and tells me that it'll be alright. 

In my break I try calling Ruby to tell her that I'm coming over again tonight. I grab my phone and diall her number. "Hey Ruub." "Yo Lil. Wassup? OMG are you alone right now?" I laugh already knowing what she wants to talk about. "I'm alone. For now." "Sooo, how are things between you and Deacon? Did you do it?" "Yea we kinda did." I hear her screaming from the other side of the phone. "HOW was it? I need to know everything." "Girl, I will tell you this, but not now. Anyone could be walking in right now. I'm coming home tonight again, so we can catch up all night." There's silence on the other side of the line. "Ruby?" "Yea, yea I'm here..." Ah great, I can already feel the storm coming. "I just eh.. You can't really come home tonight. I promised Jim he could stay again." How can she do that? Staying with deacon was just for a couple nights because I had to. "Ruby..." "I know, I'm sorry. Maybe you can stay with your lover then?" She teases me as I breath in to let it all sink in. "I'll figure it out, gotta go though. Talk to you later." I hang up the phone as she said bye too and I breathe in and out a couple times. Now I have to ask Deacon again if I can stay longer, when I just told him I'm leaving. 

Luckily, or not, Deacon just came walking into the cafeteria. "Can I ask you something?" I ask him awkwardly, already ashamed of asking again. "Can I just go first?" He caught me of guard with that question. Not knowing what's to come, I nod my head that he can. "Is there something that I'm putting out there to make you feel like you're not welcome to stay longer?" I'm looking him into his eyes, not knowing what to say. "No." "Then why do you need to apologise to me for being in my space for too long? You know you can stay how long you'd like and need." Is that what's been bothering him all this time? This is about me leaving? "Deac, I'm sorry, I just thought you'd might want everything to go back to how things were before. I just didn't want to invade your privacy." He looks at me struggling to find the words. "Well, I don't and you're not. I like your company and I think you know that, based on what happened. I just want you to know that you're always welcome to stay the night." I look at him smiling. "Thank you Deac." 

When the day's over, me and the team walk outside together. "What a day, what a day." Says Hondo. "Alright, well who wants to have a beer tonight, can come over." Luca says. "Thank you, but I think I need to pass. I'm exhausted." I say. "Alright Lil, that's fine, maybe some other time." We say our goodbyes and I follow Deacon. "Deac... do you mind if I stay tonight also?" He grins at me and gets in the car. "Thought you'd never ask."
