And so she was back! My long lost sister Rapunzel was home.

Rapunzel's return brought so much joy back into my life that I didn't even know I'd been missing!

But also set off some consequences I was not yet prepared to deal with...

First of all, a new life was brought into my family.

My parents and I learned of Gothel, the evil woman who stole Rapunzel when she was born, and locked her up in a tower on the mainland.

Flynn, had stolen Rapunzels tiara the day before her birthday, and found her in the tower, bringing her down to explore the kingdom, and then back home to her family.

While my parents were furious about his participation in stealing the crown, they quickly overlooked that as he was Rapunzel's savior.

Having a sister was amazing, though a little overwhelming at first.

Rapunzel was overjoyed to learn she had a sister, as she had imagined having siblings while living alone in the tower for so long.

Rapunzel was a cheery girl, who was slightly naive from being up in her tower for so long, but it quickly became clear that she was a very kind and passionate person, and would make for a great princess.

Since she was gone for so long there was so much to talk about. Rapunzel and I quickly found that we both enjoyed art, she loved to paint while I loved to sketch.

Another thing we had in common was an aptitude for healing. Though Rapunzel's healing gift came from her hair, and mine from books.

She was also very excited to introduce her chameleon, Pascal, to Atlas, but that interaction did not last very long, as Atlas immediately assumed Pascal was prey.

I was surprised to see Flynn... involved, with Rapunzel, and now going by his real name, Eugene. I had just assumed he decided to drop the Flynn Rider persona.

And Eugene was even more surprised to find that the girl he taught to cheat at card games in a pub was actually a princess, and sister to the woman he loved.

When we got a moment alone, Eugene was quick to ask about my secret identity as well, but I had to convince him not to say anything, as I still wasn't sure how to tell my parents I was actually a regular around town while they were under the impression I'd never been outside the palace grounds!

But this was not something I could control for long.

Now that my parents had both of their children together for the first time in forever, they were eager to parade their daughters around the kingdom, and to reveal my identity as a princess.

A few days after Rapunzel had settled back into the palace, my parents planned to officially announce Rapunzel's return and myself as their youngest daughter to the kingdom at the grand entrance of the palace, followed by a carriage ride around the city.

That morning I was so anxious I could barely put a coherent thought together.

"I am so dead." I breathed, as the maids got me ready for the day.

"It's all going to be okay, but one thing is for sure, you're going to have to come clean somehow." Marta sighed, lacing up my dress.

I was going to be done up more than I ever had been before. Now that I could really be a princess, I didn't need to wear any of my old play clothes or cloak.

"We're the ones that'll be dead." Gretl groaned.

"This is bad!" Faith exclaimed.

"I'm sure it'll be fine, how would they know we helped?" Brigitta consoled Faith.
