“Can’t I stare at my wife?” I rolled my eyes, smirking. Somehow, it makes me blush hearing it. “Stop.” 

“Why not? I told you before you’re my wife.” 

“Some day, big boy.” I patted his chest. 

“Big boy?” He was smiling, finding what I called him funny.

“Yeah. What?” 

He was careful to hold my neck and pull me towards his face, “I’m not sure whether to like that name.” he smiles.

I chuckled. “What then?” 

“Big daddy?” He smiled, scrunching his nose, clearly he didn’t like that too but it made me cackle.

“Oh that pool guy, he came by, he says the pool is all good now.” 

“Finally.” 

“Why did you suddenly want the pool filled? You missed swimming?” 

“No, I don't actually know how to swim.” 

“Then-”

“You’ll see.. tonight.” I gave a smile.

I went to my room when I also happened to bump into him out of the shower, perfect!

“I have a surprise for you.” 

He looked at me like I’m a ghost. I chuckled. “Count to.. thirty, maybe, and go to the pool once you’re done.” 

I was walking away then I remembered something so I turned around, “and please wear shorts.” I laughed.

I then hurriedly went downstairs to wear my bikini and quickly ran to the fridge to get the glasses, wine and the chocolate-covered strawberries. 

I don’t know what’s gotten into me but it felt right to also try and be romantic to him.

I sprinted to the pool and laid everything on the concrete and tried to be aesthetic about it.

After that, I already went in, standing near the steps of it, facing the wine to see if it’s alright. 

I was startled when I heard a loud splash. I quickly turned around and I saw the silhouette of him under the water, swimming towards me.

He rose up in front of me and he exhaled, brushing his wet hair back.

“What’s all this?” The side of his mouth curled, looking at the wine and all.

He then looked at me and what I’m wearing then he turned me around by my waist to check my back.

It made me smile, honestly. Such a pervert.

He turned me back around to face him. 

“I just.. want to be sweet.” I smiled a little, feeling shy.

It made him smile, pulling my chin for a kiss. 

I was about to break it off but he didn’t want it to stop just yet, he held my head, making me chuckle.

After that, I poured out wine in our glasses and I’m fascinated by how much of a pervert he is because as I’m pouring, his hands hugged around my body to hold both my breasts.

“You know, if you do this to a man.. we’d think you’re asking for a baby.” He whispered to my ear. 

I chuckled. I turned around to face him to hand his own glass. “Maybe I am.” I teased.

He bit his bottom lip at me, trying not to smile further. “No I.. haha, maybe someday? When.. I feel it's right.” I smiled. 

He kissed me and it’s such a kiss so sweet, as if he’s talking me through it, saying it’s fine.

I smiled after and took a strawberry and fed him. 

He also took one to feed me and this one is too big for me so I only bit half of it and I was surprised when he pulled me in for a kiss after.

His tongue took the strawberry in my mouth and he pulled it in his mouth, now I’m the one trying to get it back.

I felt hot because of this but my intention for tonight is to just be sweet and do nothing else. 

He let me take the strawberry then he pulled away. 

I slowly blinked, that felt so good.

I watch him sip on his wine. “I’m sorry.. I didn’t know what alcohol to get you so I opted for wine.” 

“I drink anything, but this is good. You wouldn’t want to see me drunk.” He smirked.

“What exactly happens when you’re drunk?” I narrowed my eyes on him.

He laughed, “that’s for you to find out, cupcake.” 

“Hmm..” I kept my eyes narrowed at him.

“Know how to float?” He titled his head. 

“No..I’m very scared of the water.” 

“Don’t worry, I won’t let go, want to try?”

I got skeptical but he already pulled me a little bit in the distance. 

He scooped my legs up and already held my back and I’m already floating. 

I breathe a little heavy because of the pressure. 

Water already got in my ear but it’s fine. “Relax, cupcake.” 

Oh.. I am a bit stiff..

I tried to relax more and felt the water surrounding my face. 

Wow, it kind of feels freeing. I bet it feels better when I can do this on my own.

I got to stare at the stars. 

“Hmm.. it’s nice. Can I.. see you float?” 

He agreed, he assisted me back to sitting on the steps and he immediately floated on his own.

“Wow. Seems so easy but I find it terrifying.”

He chuckles. “Will this pool be emptied again soon?” 

“I don’t think I plan to, why?” 

“Then I can teach you.” I hummed in agreement.

He sat on the steps while I sat on his lap sideways.

He kept staring at me so I had to ask why.

“The water’s reflection on your face is cute.” 

“Stop trying to ask for a baby.” I joked and he laughed. 

“Damn, I was too obvious then.” He sarcastically jokes.

We’re almost half the bottle of wine. 

I wanted to pry more of his past but I think it’s unnecessary now that he’s trying to change, no reason to keep bringing it back.

I watch him sink his teeth on the strawberry a little outside his mouth. 

Is he saying I should eat it from there?
