Doctor Strange frowned, unsure of what to make of Peter's remark.

However, Peter didn't feel burdened by it.

Given Doctor Strange's character, he wouldn't kill Peter over such a minor comment.

Besides, Wanda, Vision, and Iron Man were standing behind him—they weren't exactly pushovers either.

Peter had already told Vision the method to remove the Mind Stone, and Wanda and Vision currently held him in high regard.

The worst-case scenario? Doctor Strange might just send him away.

But was that really such a bad outcome?
To be honest, Peter was even hoping that Doctor Strange would open a multiverse portal and send him off.

If he had a choice, who would willingly stay in a world where there was a fifty-percent chance of being wiped out?

His only hope was that when Doctor Strange did send him away, he'd let Peter pick the universe he was headed to.

"State your purpose," Doctor Strange said.

The Sorcerer Supreme's ability to predict the future was essentially a computation of future possibilities based on current conditions. Without prior knowledge of Thanos' arrival, even he couldn't have foreseen this outcome.

It was similar to how the Ancient One hadn't foreseen that her chosen "strongest Sorcerer Supreme" would still lose and eventually hand over the Time Stone to Thanos.

"Thanos is coming!" Peter declared.

"Thanos?" Doctor Strange was momentarily stunned before exclaiming in surprise, "The ruler of Titan? Why would he—"

Doctor Strange stopped mid-sentence as his eyes suddenly closed.

A few seconds later, he opened them again, staring at Peter with a shocked expression. "I see! He plans to gather all six Infinity Stones and wipe out half the life in the universe. Unbelievable that he would even attempt such a thing!"

Peter let out a sigh of relief.

However, the rapid shifts in Doctor Strange's emotions left him slightly puzzled.

What did that look in his eyes just now mean?

"Come in and tell me your plan," Doctor Strange said, stepping aside to gesture them forward.

The four of them entered the portal and found themselves inside the mysterious Sanctum Sanctorum.

Contrary to Peter's expectations, the Sanctum's decor wasn't as grand as he had imagined—it wasn't even as fascinating as Hogwarts in his memories.

His first impression upon entering was one of solemnity, dignity, and a hint of darkness.

This likely stemmed from the nature of sorcerers—immersed in the study of magic, they weren't particularly fond of indulging in worldly pleasures.

"Explain your plan in detail," Doctor Strange said, once everyone had settled into their seats.

Peter wasn't sure why Doctor Strange, having already glimpsed the future, still wanted him to explain, but he went over his plan once more.

"So the key players in the final battle are Thor, Hulk, and Captain Marvel, correct?" Doctor Strange noted the crucial details.

These three were capable of temporarily overpowering or even suppressing Thanos. Add to that the current presence of Wanda and Doctor Strange himself (not including Vision, who would lose his stone), and the odds of defeating Thanos were significantly boosted.
