Abhimaan : Finding light In darkness

Armaan came to the parking lot of the hospital. His past few years of life was flashing in front of his eyes. He was a jerk with Abhira from the start. There was not a single moment he could be proud of himself. He started to doubt whether he deserved Abhira. She was a pure soul. She loved everyone dearly and expected the same in return from them. But he couldn't even support his wife while all she did was stand for him even against his own. He was drowning in guilt and felt pathetic about his family and himself. He always considered him as the protector of Poddars but the irony is only the daughters and Daughter in Laws are the ones who needed to protected from Kaveri Poddar and Sanjay Bansal. He has to get to the bottom of the past to know what had happened. Its his right as a son to gain justice for his Mom. Now he understands Abhira and Abhir's wish for gaining Justice. He has wronged both of them. He very well understood that he has long way in gaining apology from Goenkas and Abhira. But this time he is not going to back off. Not for Vidhya not for anyone he has decided to keep his and Abhira's relation above all.

Abhira and Madhav understood the reason behind Armaan's exit. Both didn't have any interest in comforting him. One was hurt and broken beyond repair and the other felt that his mistakes are being repeated by his son even after his continuous warning. Both waited patiently for both Armaan and Shivani. Shivani came back in few minutes and panicked of not finding Armaan there. "Where is my Aru ?? Madhav somebody has kidnapped our Aru please get him back. He is very small he can't live without his mother. please get my Aru back". Armaan came on time and she relaxed at the sight of him scolding him as if he was a toddler. Armaan exchanged glances with Madhav and Abhira as if he wanted to share something with them. Understanding they both excused themselves one by one and waited for Armaan. Armaan with help of RK successfully diverted Shivani to have a conversation with them. He went to them who were already waiting at the hospital canteen and made himself clear that they cannot reveal about Shivani that she is alive. This might create a lot chaos which will stop them from knowing the truth. Which was immediately agreed by Abhira and Madhav as they both felt the same.

Armaan asked them for plan of action Abhira suggested that first they all should investigate separately as they can know how many versions of Truth is there. Madhav said he will look into the old case files of Shivani accident case and also check with the hospitals. It is going to be difficult still, Since he is a police officer at least he can reach the people who where working at that time. Abhira said she will talk with chorus gang to know what each of the parents have told them about also she will be able to know what each couple of the Poddar house had told their children. The reason for the possibility of too many versions was Kaveri Poddar has never let anyone to discuss this topic openly. Armaan was assigned a task of talking to Sanjay and Vidhya. They made sure that this shouldn't reach Kaveri's ears until they get to know all the details. All three suspected Kaveri to have a hand in this she might have got support from her favorite Jamai sa. this is what they believed.

Next was how to handle Shivani. They knew that its going to be difficult to make Shivani agree to stay in the hospital. She is so afraid that she might lose her family again. But any other place than hospital might be risky for her was Armaan's concern. But Madhav suggested that Shivani can stay in her house along with a nurse from the hospital Also they can all visit her while we work on the matters. Armaan was still skeptical but Abhira assured that its the best way possible and she will stay along with Ma will also take care of her with the help of nurse. Armaan was so overwhelmed and again guilt zoned that how could he have hurted such a pure soul. Madhav again asked if Goenkas got to know about Shivani then there are possibilities of the news reaching Maasa.

Abhira promised that nothing sort of that will happen she will manage. May be she will tell her family that she is going along with RK for some legal matters and she will be back after a week. Before the week completes they will have to find the truth. Or anyone else should take turn in looking after Ma. Armaan agreed to Abhira's suggestion and they thought of discussing all these with RK. Its his right to know about his Mom. Though he is not her own. But she was his own. when RK was told about all this he was shattered would be a small word. his entire world was his Mom. He did each and everything for her and now suddenly few people come and say they are here to take away his Mom. He got agitated but understanding his turmoil they assured that his place in Shivani's life would be irreplaceable. He can visit his mother anytime. Only this that is going to be changed is the place as it it will be risky also they need to make up for the lost time. Shivani also wants them beside her.

Rk with heavy heart agreed to them by saying "I'm doing this because this is my Mom's wish".All three went to Doctor to know about discharge. Doctor was pleasantly surprised by this request. It was Shivani's 10th year in this hospital and this is the first time he is hearing such request. He was glad to oblige to them as he understood Shivani needed her family more than any medicine. He also appointed a home nurse for Shivani to take care of her. He did instruct other staffs who were in charge of Shivani to explain her routine and medications and happily told the admin department to get her papers ready.

Shivani was on cloud nine when she was told that she is going to go home. Her joy knew no bounds. Almost a decade she is stepping to the outside world. Though she didn't understand all these things the word Home brought a strange calmness in her.
