August 30th
Summer had flown by in a blur. After her incident at Flourish and Blotts, Daisy had decided to spend the remaining days at her cottage, focusing on her studies for the upcoming school year. Molly and Ginny had visited the day after she regained consciousness, fussing over her with tea and homemade biscuits. Remus had also dropped by to check on her, his kind eyes filled with concern as he reminded her to take it easy.
On the evening before September 1st, Molly arrived to pick Daisy up, as she would be heading to London with the Weasleys, just like last year. Daisy grabbed her packed suitcase and gave Hagrid a warm hug. Though they said their goodbyes, she knew they'd see each other soon at Hogwarts.
When they arrived at the Burrow, Daisy felt a faint sense of unease, a lightheadedness that she couldn't quite shake. She brushed it off, attributing it to nerves about the new school year. The Burrow was as chaotic and welcoming as ever, with the familiar hum of magical activity filling the air. Harry had been staying with the Weasley ever since the last time she saw him. He looked pretty happy.
Molly conjured up a scrumptious dinner, ending with a mouthwatering treacle pudding that left everyone groaning in satisfaction. Fred and George rounded off the evening with a dazzling display of Filibuster fireworks, filling the kitchen with red and blue stars that bounced from ceiling to wall for a good half hour. Finally, after a last mug of hot chocolate, everyone headed to bed, the excitement of the next day hanging thick in the air.

September 1st
The morning was a whirlwind of chaos. Despite rising at dawn, the Weasleys seemed to have an endless list of last-minute tasks. Daisy watched from the sidelines, her trunk already packed and ready, as Molly dashed about in a flurry, searching for spare socks and quills. People collided on the stairs, half-dressed and clutching bits of toast, while Arthur nearly broke his neck tripping over a stray chicken as he carried Ginny's trunk to the car.
Daisy couldn't help but wonder how eight people, seven large trunks, two owls, and a rat were going to fit into the small Ford Anglia. But Arthur had secretly expanded the car with magic. The luggage fit easily, though he shot Daisy a conspiratorial wink and whispered, "Not a word to Molly."
When they were all finally crammed into the car, Molly glanced into the back seat, where Daisy, Harry, Ron, Fred, George, and Percy sat comfortably side by side, and remarked, "Muggles do know more than we give them credit for, don't they?"
Molly and Ginny squeezed into the front seat, which had been stretched to resemble a park bench. "I mean, you'd never know it was this roomy from the outside, would you?"
Daisy couldn't believe Molly didn't noticed Arthur's expansion magic.
Arthur started the engine, and they trundled out of the yard. Daisy felt a thrill of excitement, her earlier unease momentarily forgotten. But their journey was far from smooth. George had forgotten his box of Filibuster fireworks, forcing them to turn back. Five minutes later, they skidded to a halt again so Fred could fetch his broomstick. Just as they reached the highway, Ginny shrieked that she'd left her diary. By the time she clambered back into the car, they were running very late, and tempers were frayed.
Daisy's dizziness returned, and she felt a pang of frustration. She had been ready since yesterday! The back-and-forth was exhausting, and she didn't want to be late.
Arthur glanced at his watch and then at Molly. "Molly, dear—"
"No, Arthur—"
"No one would see—this little button here is an Invisibility Booster I installed. We'd be up in the air, above the clouds, and there in ten minutes. No one would be any the wiser—"
