Can a heart still break once it's stopped beating? (Lady Lesso)

Beverly woke up abruptly and couldn't go back to sleep so she went to Lesso's office and even though it was 12:45am she was there with Sylvie and she walked in opening drawers and cabinets.

Can I help you? Lesso asked

I need something to sleep, I don't know why I woke up. Beverly said

Me either Aaliyah said you could sleep through a tornado. Lesso said

Haha you're so funny..

Why are you two up? Beverly asked

I couldn't sleep. Sylvie said

I am so sorry you have that curse of a talent I wouldn't be able to survive. Beverly said

It's not your fault. Sylvie said

I know, also bye I found it. Beverly said leaving and while crossing the bridge she saw Alanah sitting on the rim of the bridge like the railing with one leg pulled to her chest just staring out into the distance.

Alanah! Beverly yelled and her head turned to her slightly but the she fainted and Beverly quickly caught her by her hand pulling her back up.

Lanah?! Wake up.. Beverly said

Beverly what happened? Lesso asked running to asses the situation.

She was sitting on the edge of the bridge when she fainted from what I'm guessing is exhaustion, she told me she was used to falling asleep anymore because she would always fainted from pain over the last three years. Beverly said Alanah started opening her eyes slowly.

Where am I? Alanah asked her voice strained and hoarse.

You're on the bridge— actually why did you come sit on the edge of the bridge? Do you know how dangerous that is? Beverly asked

Why do you care? I'm fine and that's all that really matters. Alanah said

Can you talk to me? What's wrong? Beverly asked

Nothing is wrong, I'm fine, piss off. Alanah said getting up and walking back to her room and Beverly rolled her eyes as her and Lesso went back in the school for evil.

The next morning...

Lesso was talking to Dovey when Mira walked in standing next to Dovey spilled water on her arm and she retracted her arm in pain.

Dove you good? Lesso asked

I-I'm fine excuse me. Dovey said leaving quickly and although she covered her wrist Emma noticed the large burn on her wrist leading up to her arm and followed her to her office and Dovey pressed her head against the wall breathing in heavily.

Dove, what do you need? Anemone asked

A minute. Just one minute. Dovey said and Anemone saw Lesso and Crystal walking to bring Sylvie a plate of food.

Sylvie we couldn't find anyone to sub in for your class, Mira said you have to teach. Lesso said

I-I can't focus probably. L-Lesso I can't teach like this. Sylvie said

If it were my decision, you'd be able to stay here until Sydney came back, but it's not. Lesso said

I have a headache, I'm going to have a seizure or panic attack. Sylvie said

It's ok Sylvie. Crystal said taking her hand comfortingly.

It's not! That bitch has it out for everyone! Especially Dovey because she's mad that Dovey and Aiden used date! Sylvie yelled
