Bound by Sin and Light

Lisa's lips were warm against his. Soft. Hesitant. Real.

Jungkook could have lost himself in the feeling, in the way she clung to him like he was the only solid thing in her world.

But then—

She pulled away.

It wasn't sudden. It wasn't rejection.

It was something else.

Jungkook opened his eyes to find Lisa looking at him, breathing unevenly, her hands still curled into his shirt. But there was something in her gaze—something uncertain.

His heart clenched.

"Lisa," he murmured.

She shook her head, dropping her hands. "I... I don't know if I can do this."

Jungkook went still.

Lisa stepped back, her arms wrapping around herself. "I meant what I said. I'm still yours. I never stopped being yours." Her voice was barely above a whisper. "But I don't know if I know how to be me anymore."

Jungkook clenched his fists.

She wasn't rejecting him. She was lost.

And that was worse.

He exhaled, forcing himself to be calm.

"Then let me remind you," he said softly.

Lisa looked up, wary.

Jungkook reached out—slowly, giving her time to stop him.

She didn't.

His fingers brushed against her hand before he took it gently, lifting it between them.

"Your wings are gone," he murmured. "But your fire isn't."

Lisa's breath hitched.

Jungkook stepped closer, his grip still featherlight. "I know you feel broken." His voice softened. "But, Lisa... you were never just an angel."

She swallowed hard.

"You are you." Jungkook cupped her face, tilting it up. "And that is enough."

Lisa's eyes filled with something he hadn't seen in weeks.

Something fragile.

Something like hope.

Jungkook exhaled, pressing his forehead against hers.

"You don't have to be okay yet," he whispered.

Lisa's fingers curled into his.

"But you're still mine," Jungkook murmured. "And I'll wait for you to find yourself again. However long it takes."

Lisa inhaled sharply.

Then, slowly—finally—she nodded.
