Chapter 211: The Wisdom Tree and Tree Spirit

Matthew carefully watched Elona and the state of the Wisdom Tree, to prevent any unexpected situations.

After all, most of the seals Matthew knew of carried some negative connotations.

However, Elona's ecological signs remained stable, and there was no "peculiar" energy from the surface of the Wisdom Tree, so it seemed there wouldn't be any major issues.

As the green light gradually faded.

A small and cute figure appeared in Elona's palm.

Delicate green wings slowly unfolded, revealing a sleepy and bewildered little face.

A lock of light green hair swayed slightly with Yaya's breathing.

A small tree spirit!

The somewhat dazed tree spirit cautiously opened her eyes, meeting Yaya's large, clear, and beautiful eyes.

She quickly shut her eyes again in fear, sitting down in Elona's palm with a frightened sound:

"Eek! Don't eat Guoguo, Guoguo doesn't taste good!"

Despite saying this, she still clung tightly to a small green twig.

Yaya tilted her head in curiosity, sniffing the faint fragrance of the tree spirit and asking with interest:

"Hmm? But you smell really nice!"

The tree spirit Guoguo's eyes filled with mist, giving her a pitiful appearance.

But upon hearing Yaya's words, she suddenly stopped crying, sniffed herself curiously, and shook her head quickly, saying:

"Hmm, Guoguo doesn't smell nice at all?"

Liana nearly burst into laughter at Guoguo's cute and clueless expression.

Yaya, confused by her question, laughed as well, happily biting into the soft, glistening pork trotter and said with a grin:

"Haha! Tricked you, Yaya doesn't eat sentient beings, this is the tasty stuff!"

The mist in Guoguo's eyes cleared away, and she patted her chest in relief, quickly comforting herself:

"That's good, Guoguo doesn't taste good, but I can make you tasty things in the future."

She seemed to catch the scent of the pork trotter and, forgetting her earlier fear, fluttered her wings and flew next to Yaya, curiously examining the unfamiliar food:

"Hmm? What kind of food is this?"

"I've never seen it before. Is it tasty?"

Upon hearing that Guoguo could make her tasty food, Yaya, who had been focused on eating, immediately perked up.

She rolled her eyes playfully and without hesitation tore off a meat-covered bone, generously handing it over:

"Here, try it! You'll like it, I'm sure!"

Matthew found Yaya and the little tree spirit Guoguo's interaction quite amazing.

These two little ones sure had some unique thought processes...

Guoguo took the meat-covered bone without hesitation, took a couple of bites, carefully chewed it, then widened her eyes in surprise, nodding repeatedly as she said:

"It's really tasty! It seems like it has ginger slices, green onions, bay leaves, cinnamon, star anise..."

"Hmm? There are some things I don't recognize!"
