Bay Territory.

30 meters underground in the Kobold mining district.

The blue light slowly dissipated.

A large, funnel-shaped metal container appeared before Matthew.

Elemental Furnace.

Extraordinary magic device, excellent quality.

Five meters tall, weighing 25 tons.

Purpose: Metal smelting.

Smelting efficiency: 80%.

Output: Normal operation, 10 tons per day; full load, 20 tons per day.

Consumption: 1 kg of elemental fuel per day (1,000 gold coins).

"The Elemental Furnace is finally here."

Just as Matthew was about to start the furnace, he noticed that a figure had arrived with the furnace.

Floating in the air, 343 curiously examined the vast underground cavern.

She gracefully walked up to the calm-faced Matthew, handing over the elemental fuel she had prepared:

"Elemental fuel costs 1,000 gold coins per kilogram. For you, a friendship price of 900 gold."

Matthew accepted the discount without hesitation and gestured to Gold-Fang to begin.

With a howl, Gold-Fang's deep voice echoed through the mine, and countless kobolds began bustling around.

343's gaze fell on the towering pile of iron ore, and her delicate face showed a hint of curiosity:

"Lord Matthew, your steel factory is underground? How interesting."

Matthew took the elemental fuel, disregarding the furnace's blackened exterior, opened the fuel chamber, and placed 1 kg of fuel inside.

Then, he skillfully slid the chamber shut and quickly stepped back.

Whoosh!

Orange flames burst forth from the Elemental Furnace.

Sparks flickered and gradually faded away.

The concentrated flames looked like a molten river of lava.

Seeing the furnace ignite under Matthew's control, 343 curiously asked again:

"Lord Matthew, this isn't your first time using an Elemental Furnace, is it? You're more skilled than the Lord of the City."

Suspended above, the mine's tracks moved carts filled with ore to the top of the furnace.

The carts tilted, dumping their load of iron ore into the furnace.

The kobolds diligently followed the process.

The sounds of mining tools striking rock echoed throughout the cavern.

Soon, molten iron began to flow from the furnace's output chute.

Hired at a high price, Copperbeard blew on his whiskers with excitement, shouting:

"Open the gates, pour the molds!"

The molten iron flowed into the prepared molds, and before it could cool, larger kobolds pushed the molds along tracks deeper into the mine.

Only then did Matthew turn to face the lifelike 343, smiling as he replied:
