Newt x Thomas | The Maze Runner | Newtmas

     Thomas and Newt were suddenly woke up by Gally.

     "Good morning!" He said sarcastically.

     Thomas and Newt yawned as they stood up.

     "You could have been a little bit nicer Gally." Newt said irritated.

     "Sorry! Get the hell up you Shuck faces." He paused. "Better?"

     Newt rolled his eyes. He started walking to the Gardens. Thomas followed behind him.

     "Woah! Where do you think you're doing Green Bean?" Alby called out. Thomas turned around while Newt kept walking.

     "Today is day one. Tour day. Come on." He waved Thomas to follow him. Thomas did.

     The tour went on for what seemed like forever. Right when Thomas thought it was over it wasn't. Alby kept yapping. Thomas always nodded.

     Thomas was still stuck on last night. 'What was that?' He thought.

     Last night left him with a fuzzy feeling. 'Why?' He couldn't quite figure it out.

     The tour ended and Thomas was sent to go explore the Glade. Instead he went to the Gardens to "help" but he just wanted to see Newt.

     "Hey Tommy" Newt called out while holding a shovel.

     Thomas walked up to Newt. "What are you doing?" He asked.

     "Planting some knew crops." He paused. "What to help?"

     Thomas didn't really want to but he wanted to spend time with Newt, this seemed like the perfect opportunity.

     "Yeah!"

     Newt handed him a shovel. They started breaking up the dirt to plant new seeds. They stayed mostly silent with a "You okay?" every now and then.

     They finished planting seeds, and sat down taking a rest.

      They talked for a while about all kinds of things. How life in the Glade is. The other Gladers. Each other. What they like and don't like. Or maybe even who.

THOMAS BRODIE SANGSTER IS MY HUSBAND. I love him.
