6:00 AM - The Wake-Up Slap
Virat Kohli, world-renowned cardiologist, survivor of nightmares, and proud cat dad, was deep in sleep. A rare, peaceful moment.
Which, of course, meant it was about to be ruined.
SMACK.
A tiny but firm paw slapped his cheek.
Virat groaned, turning his face away. "Luna, five more minutes..."
SMACK. Another slap.
He peeked through one eye. His cat, Luna-a tiny, fluffy, chaotic dictator-stood on his chest, eyes narrowed in disapproval.
She slapped him again.
"Luna, please..." he mumbled.
Luna sat down, her tail flicking. She let out a long, dramatic sigh, as if saying, "This man. Useless."
Then, in the most passive-aggressive way possible, she turned her back to him and whacked his face with her tail.
Virat finally sat up. "Alright, alright, I'm up. Happy now?"
Luna gave him a satisfied meow before jumping off the bed and heading to the kitchen.
Because breakfast must be served immediately.
6:15 AM - The Breakfast Struggle
Virat yawned as he poured Luna's food into her bowl. "There you go, baby."
Luna sniffed the food. Then turned to look at Virat.
And walked away.
Virat frowned. "Luna? You love this food."
Luna sat on the counter, staring at him. Waiting.
Then it clicked.
"Oh." Virat sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "I didn't eat yet."
Luna blinked. As if saying, "Obviously, dumb human."
Virat quickly grabbed an apple and took a bite. Only then did Luna gracefully walk back to her bowl and start eating.
This was not the first time this had happened.
Or the hundredth.
8:00 AM - The Clothes Catastrophe
Virat stood in front of his mirror, trying to find his coat.
Luna sat on the bed, watching him struggle.
"Where is it? I swear I put it here last night..."
Luna tilted her head, her green eyes filled with amusement.
After five minutes of searching, Virat groaned. "Fine, I'll just take a different one."
He grabbed another coat and turned-only to find his missing coat lying on the chair behind him.
Virat narrowed his eyes. "Luna."
The cat yawned. Completely unfazed.
"You hid it, didn't you?"
Luna licked her paw, ignoring him.
Virat sighed. "You are the most dramatic cat I have ever met."
Luna jumped onto his shoulder, rubbing her face against his. She owned him, after all.
Virat smiled softly, stroking her back. "Yeah, yeah. Love you too, troublemaker."
9:00 AM - Leaving for Work (The Struggle)
Virat put on his shoes and grabbed his bag. "Alright, Luna, I'll be back in the evening."
Luna huffed.
She hated when he left.
Virat knelt down and kissed her forehead. "I promise, I'll be home early."
Luna stared into his soul, clearly doubting him.
"You don't believe me, do you?"
Silence.
Virat sighed. "Okay, fine. I'll try."
Luna, finally satisfied, booped her nose against his.
With one last meow of authority, she turned and dramatically walked away.
Virat chuckled as he stepped out. "I swear, you're the mom in this house."
And Luna?
She absolutely agreed.

9:30 AM - Chaos Arrives at the Hospital
Virat Kohli stepped into the hospital, wearing his usual soft smile. His white coat flowed behind him, giving him a professional air. Calm. Composed. Gentle.
Which lasted exactly two seconds before-
"VI BHAIYAAAAA!"
Virat barely had time to react before a human missile crashed into him.
KL Rahul. His unofficial younger brother, best friend, and certified menace.
Virat staggered back. "Rahul! Be careful!"
Rahul just grinned at him, unapologetic. "Missed you, Bhaiya."
Virat sighed but ruffled Rahul's hair. "I saw you last night, you idiot."
"Yeah, but that was yesterday." Rahul pouted.
Virat shook his head, but his fondness was evident. "Drama queen."
"Dr. Kohli!"
Virat turned to see his senior doctors approaching. The big bosses of the hospital.
And also the most protective, overbearing parental figures in his life.
Dr. Dev, the Head of Cardiology, patted his shoulder. "Did you eat breakfast today?"
Dr. Aditi, the Head of Surgery, narrowed her eyes. "You look thinner. Are you skipping meals again?"
Dr. Manish, the Head of Internal Medicine, pointed at Rahul. "This kid is supposed to take care of you. Why is he useless?"
Rahul gasped. "Hey! I am not useless-"
Aditi ignored him and turned back to Virat. "Did you sleep well?"
Virat smiled softly, feeling warm at their concern. "Yes, I ate. Yes, I slept. And no, Rahul is not useless."
Rahul smirked at the last part. "See? Vi Bhaiya loves me."
Manish sighed dramatically. "Fine, fine. But if you don't take care of yourself, we're kidnapping you."
Virat laughed. "That's not how hospitals work."
Aditi huffed. "We'll find a way."
Virat Kohli: A world-class doctor. Also, a baby brother to half the hospital.
10:00 AM - Best Friend Duties
Rahul and Virat walked through the halls, side by side.
Rahul was bouncing with energy. "So, Bhaiya, have you met Rohit Sharma yet?"
Virat blinked. "Rohit Sharma?"
Rahul rolled his eyes. "Our billionaire boss? The one who owns this entire hospital?"
Virat thought for a moment. "Oh. No, I've never seen him."
Rahul looked personally offended. "You've worked here for YEARS! How?!"
Virat shrugged. "I just... never had a reason to meet him."
Rahul threw his hands up. "Unbelievable. You live under a rock."
Virat just smiled. He liked his peaceful life. Meeting a billionaire seemed... unnecessary.
Rahul, however, had other plans.
And fate?
It was already plotting.
