"Mission: Know Your Husband ( fake it till you make it )" – The Ultimate Virat Quiz
Samaira, Hardik, and Rahul sat in a circle, their faces set with determination. This was no ordinary day—this was Rohit Sharma's final exam. The exam that would determine whether he was worthy of Virat Prem Kohli.
Rohit, the ever-so-confident CEO, sat across from them, sweating. He was worth billions, managed multiple companies, and owned an entire empire, but here he was, terrified of a five-year-old, a nosy assistant, and an overprotective best friend.
Samaira: (serious face) "Papa, this is a very important test. If you fail, you have to sleep on the couch."
Hardik: "And if you pass, you get to be Virat's favorite human."
Rahul: "Which is impossible, but okay, we'll give you a chance."
Rohit gulped. Phoenix, the panther, watched with narrowed eyes. Luna, the drama-queen cat, sat on the table, her tail flicking judgmentally.
Rahul cleared his throat. "Alright, Mr. Sharma, let's begin."
ROUND 1: RAPID FIRE
Rahul: "Virat's full name?"
Rohit: (confidently) "Virat Prem Kohli."
Samaira: "Okay, good start. His birthdate?"
Rohit: "5th November!"
Hardik: "His age?"
Rohit: "29!"
Rahul: "Alright, we're warming up. Next question—Virat's biggest pet peeve?"
Rohit: "...Mess?"
Hardik: "You're LITERALLY his biggest pet peeve, idiot."
Rohit: "HEY!"
Samaira: "Next question! What's his favorite food?"
Rohit: (smugly) "Healthy stuff. Salads. But he has a soft spot for chole bhature from rajouri garden"
Rahul: (impressed) "Not bad."
Hardik: "Okay, what does Virat drink every morning?"
Rohit: "Masala Chai."
Samaira: (nodding) "Hmm. Favorite color?"
Rohit: (grinning) "Blue."
Hardik: "Favorite pastime?"
Rohit: "Reading medical journals and bullying Luna."
Luna: (flicks tail aggressively)
Rahul: "Favorite movie genre?"
Rohit: (thinking hard) "...Overdramatic emotional movies that make him cry?"
Samaira: "CORRECT!"
Hardik: "Damn, he's actually doing well."
ROUND 2: MULTIPLE CHOICE
Rahul: "Alright, time for MCQs. How does Virat react when he's flustered?"
a) Stutters and avoids eye contact.
b) Slaps the person who flustered him.
c) Runs away.
d) Acts as if nothing happened but turns red.
Rohit: "d) Acts as if nothing happened but turns red!"
Samaira: "Good job, Papa!"
Hardik: "Okay, next! If Virat is stressed, what does he do?"
a) Sleeps it off.
b) Goes to the gym.
c) Forgets to eat and overworks.
d) Complains to Luna.
Rohit: "c) Forgets to eat and overworks."
Rahul: "Right again. Okay, next. Virat hates idiots the most. Who in this room is closest to being on that list?"
a) Hardik
b) You
c) Rahul
d) Samaira
Rohit: "b) ME!"
Hardik: "At least you know!"
ROUND 3: TRUE OR FALSE
Samaira: "Virat secretly likes Rohit's dumb jokes. True or false?"
Rohit: "...True?"
Hardik: "Unfortunately, true."
Rahul: "Virat would rather fight an entire gang than admit he likes attention. True or false?"
Rohit: "TRUE!"
Samaira: "Final question, Papa. Virat is already falling for you. True or false?"
Rohit: (grinning) "True."
Rahul: "Eh, debatable. But okay, we'll allow it."
Samaira slammed her hands on the table. "CONGRATULATIONS, PAPA! YOU PASSED!"
Rohit: (dramatically sighing) "Oh, thank God."
Hardik: "But you still have to work harder, loverboy. Virat is not an easy catch."
Rahul: (narrowing eyes) "You make him cry, and I make you cry. Got it?"
Rohit: (smirking) "I'd rather die than hurt him."
Samaira: (clapping) "YAY! TEAM DOCTOR-UNCLE-AND-PAPA SUCCESS!"
Hardik: "We seriously need a better team name."
Rahul: "Agreed."
Luna and Phoenix exchanged looks. They knew their humans were idiots, but at least they were entertaining.
And so, Mission: Win Over Virat officially began.
-----------
Virat didn't hate Rohit's chaotic energy.
Which was strange because he should.
He hated loud, messy, unpredictable people. He hated unnecessary attention, ridiculous jokes, and people who made his life more complicated than it needed to be. He had spent his entire life avoiding people like that.
But Rohit Sharma?
Rohit Sharma was all of that and more—a storm of forgetfulness, dramatics, and ridiculous charm.
And yet... Virat didn't mind his chaos.
He found himself watching Rohit too much. The way he messed up his own tie every morning only for Hardik to fix it. The way he could go from running a multi-billion-dollar empire to arguing with his five-year-old daughter about which cartoon character was the strongest. The way he never stopped talking, but it never annoyed Virat the way other people did.
And worst of all?
Rohit made him laugh.
Like, actual laughter. Not the polite, short chuckle Virat gave people at work. Not the forced, tired smiles he used to get through social interactions.
No. Rohit made him laugh like he was a child again—loud and unguarded.
And that scared him.
Because laughter like that? It meant he was comfortable. It meant he was letting Rohit in.
And Virat didn't let people in.
But Rohit? Rohit was like a storm breaking through his walls without even trying.
And Virat didn't know how to stop it.
Or... if he even wanted to.
