Vee woke up to the gentle morning light filtering through her curtains, a soft glow that contrasted sharply with the whirlwind of emotions still swirling in her mind. She couldn't shake the memory of kissing Shelly; the blush crept up her cheeks again, and she flopped back onto her bed, groaning in embarrassment. Just as she began to replay the moment in her head, a knock on her door startled her. Her heart raced as she opened it to find Shelly standing there, looking slightly shy but undeniably beautiful. Without a word, Shelly pushed Vee gently against the wall and kissed her again, catching her completely off guard. The intensity of the kiss sent Vee's cheeks flushing a hard crimson, and she felt herself melting against the wall.

Before she could gather her thoughts, Shelly pulled back, a mischievous smile on her lips. "Good morning," she said, her voice light and teasing. "G-Good morning!" Vee stammered, still reeling from the kiss. She quickly composed herself, slipping into her usual outfit before stepping out of her room. But as she walked down the hallway, something alarming caught her attention. In front of Rudie's door stood a creature that looked eerily like a wendigo—its long limbs, twisted form, and antler-like horns sent chills down her spine. The creature's eyes glinted green in the dim light, and Vee's heart stopped. As if sensing her fear, it turned its head slightly, and for a moment, their eyes locked. Vee's heart began to race, pounding in her chest so loudly that she was certain the creature could hear it. With a sudden movement, the wendigo's green eyes flickered to a menacing red. It took a step back, startled, and in its panic, it crashed into the walls of the hallway, its long body scraping against the paint as it retreated into the shadows.

Vee felt a rush of adrenaline and instinctively stepped back, her breath quickening. "What the—?" she gasped, her voice barely above a whisper. Shelly, who had followed Vee out of her room, noticed the commotion. "Vee, what's wrong?" she asked, concern etching her features as she looked down the dark hallway. Before Vee could respond, Rudie peeked out of his room, his expression turning from curiosity to sheer fright as he took in the scene. "What was that thing?!" he exclaimed, glancing back toward his door. "How did a wendigo get here?" "It was right in front of me!" Vee said, her voice shaky. "I swear it looked right at me." "Maybe it was just passing through?" Shelly suggested, though her voice held a hint of uncertainty. "Or maybe it's lost?" But Rudie shook his head, his eyes wide. "Wendigos aren't just wandering creatures. They're supposed to be legends!" he insisted. "How can one be here?"

As the group exchanged worried glances, the atmosphere shifted from playful to tense. Vee's heart raced not just from fear but from the realization that this was no ordinary day. They needed to figure out what was happening, and fast. "We should get everyone together," Vee said, her voice steadier now. "If there's a wendigo, we need to figure out what to do. It's not safe." Shelly nodded, determination filling her gaze. "Let's go. We can't let it roam around without knowing more about it." Rudie gulped but stepped out into the hallway, ready to follow. "I'll stay close to you guys. I don't want to be alone if that thing comes back." With hearts pounding and adrenaline coursing through their veins, the trio moved cautiously down the hallway, preparing to gather their friends and face whatever mystery awaited them. As they moved, the whispers of uncertainty hung in the air, reminding them that today was going to be anything but ordinary.

Once everyone was gathered close, a sense of urgency filled the room. Dandy, ever the curious one, raised an eyebrow. "So, how did a wendigo get here, anyway? Are we sure it's even real?" Connie chimed in, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "I love creepy creatures like wendigos! They're fascinating!" She glanced around as everyone stared at her, a mix of confusion and disbelief etched on their faces. "What? They are! It's like they're straight out of a horror movie." Rudie, however, felt a knot tighten in his stomach. "Wait, where's Blitzen?" he asked, scanning the group anxiously. Blitzen hadn't been with them, and a wave of worry washed over Rudie. "He should be here!" With his heart racing, Rudie dashed down the hallway, calling out for Blitzen. "Blitzen! Where are you?" Panic surged within him as he rounded the corner, glancing into empty rooms. Just as he was about to turn back, he heard a low growl echoing from deeper in the hallway.
