Hey guys!!! Sorry that its been a while... I haven't had that much motivation for this story since I actually have 9 on here (help |3) and since I made a story with my OC and Connie shipped together and if anyone has any names for it then great :3 anyways, lets do this y'all!!!! And the "Vee will be a mom thing" is a joke, unless you guys want it to be happening then okie :3 now let's go:
Vee walked down the hallway with Shelly, their footsteps echoing softly on the polished floor. The conversation had been light-hearted, filled with the usual banter about their latest adventures and the small things in life that kept their group entertained. But that calm, easy moment was abruptly interrupted when Shelly suddenly turned and pinned Vee up against the wall. Vee's breath caught in her throat, her eyes wide in surprise as Shelly leaned in and kissed her on the cheek. The suddenness of it sent a flush to Vee's face, her heart pounding harder than it should have. She hadn't expected that—not from Shelly, not like this. "W-What was that for?" Vee stammered, trying to collect herself, but her cheeks burned with embarrassment. Shelly only grinned, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Just felt like it," she replied, her voice light and playful. "You looked too cute to resist." Vee couldn't help but shake her head, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips despite herself. "You're impossible," she muttered, though there was no real annoyance in her tone. At that moment, Dandy came strolling down the hallway, a smirk playing at his lips. As he passed, he glanced at the two of them and threw in a teasing remark. "Get a room, you two," he said with a grin, a twinkle of amusement in his eyes. The lighthearted teasing was a familiar dynamic between them, one that Vee had grown used to over time.
Vee shot him an exaggerated glare, but Shelly just let out a laugh. "Oh, stop it, Dandy," she called out after him, shaking her head. "You know you love us." The laughter faded as Dandy continued down the hall, but the moment was still fresh, a warm, teasing energy hanging between them. Across the room, Connie and Gigi sat together, their heads bent over their books, immersed in the quiet world of pages and words. Their calm presence was a stark contrast to the energy of the others. The silence they exuded only deepened the sense of calm in the room, a stark counterpoint to the whirlwind that was Shelly and Vee. As Vee looked around, however, she noticed something odd. Cosmo, the one person who would usually be right there with them, was nowhere to be seen. She frowned slightly, glancing at the others. "Has anyone seen Cosmo?" she asked, her voice betraying a hint of concern. "She's probably off wandering again," Dandy had called over his shoulder with a shrug as he continued walking. "She's always disappearing when she needs her space." But Vee didn't feel like that was the reason. Something about the way Cosmo had been acting lately had been different. Vee couldn't shake the uneasy feeling in her stomach. The small, subtle changes she had noticed—the way Cosmo seemed distant, withdrawn at times. It all added up.
"I think we should check on her," Vee suggested, her brow furrowing with concern. The others exchanged glances, and though they didn't say anything, it was clear that they too were beginning to feel that same weight in the air. Without another word, they turned toward Cosmo's room, their footsteps quickening as they approached. When they reached the door, Vee knocked gently before pushing it open. The room was dimly lit, with the curtains drawn just enough to let in a soft, muted light. Cosmo was standing by the window, her back to them. At first glance, she seemed lost in thought, staring out at the world beyond, but something was off. Her frame looked... different. A bit fuller than it had been before. She wasn't wearing her usual tight-fitting clothes, instead opting for something more relaxed, but it was the way her posture shifted that caught Vee's eye. The subtle way she seemed to protect her stomach, as if instinctively shielding it from view. Vee's heart sank as the realization hit her. Cosmo was pregnant. Without even thinking, Vee stepped forward, her breath catching in her throat as she gently placed a hand on Cosmo's shoulder. "Cosmo..." she began softly, her voice filled with a quiet, understanding concern. Cosmo turned slowly, her eyes already damp with tears that she hadn't let fall yet. She gave Vee a weak smile, but it was clear the smile didn't reach her eyes. "Hey," she said in a voice that was quieter than usual. "I didn't expect you all to come in."
